I remember riding home from work on my pushbike, I finished work at 11pm each night so by the time I got home it was midnight & very dark. I rode along the beachfront cause they have a great path to do so & nobody was there at that time of night.... or so I thought this night.

I was riding home as usual (before my injury & before my weight loss so I was 90+ kg on a bike) and I was reaching into my basket to get my midnight ride snack...a cherry ripe...... was not watching the path.... hit a small pole head on. Crushed the SOLID metal basket & went flying onto the path..... hurt myself kinda bad & wrecked the bike. No big deal..... except I did it in front of a couple who were making nookie beside the path. He ran over to see if I was ok. I put on a brave face and said "yep all good" and then hobbled off the 2km home I had left. I flew a good 10 meters that night before I hit the ground. Hurt my hands enough I could not work for a week (I worked in a supermarket as a checkout chick) and could hardly walk cause I got my knees, wrists, head, nose, face & even feet...... hurt so bad it was painful to do anything.

Had to buy a new bike, basket & pride.

did you at least find the cherry ripe? :flowerforyou:

No, I have no idea where that landed :( bummer that..... I could have used the wrapper to sob into on my way home hahaa

Broken fingers playing basketball
Ripped chest muscles on the bench press (hospital thought it was a heart attack so had full xray, ECG and bloods and spent half a day in resusc)
lots of twisted ankles from Paintballing (plus the obvious generic welts and bruises on a weekly basis)

I dont think I got any kind of injury from my 4 years eating lots and playing the xbox! Maybe my liver took a bit of damage..
• Skate-a-thon this year as a fundraiser for my roller derby league.
Went the wrong way and ended up going down a spiral bike track from a bridge over a road to under the bridge. You can't stop well outside on skates so I flew under the bridge and tripped up on a huge crack between pavers.
Kicked myself in the left upper thigh with my right skate and the bruise is only just fading. From the pain in my ankle I'm lucky I didn't break it.
I'm also really lucky I skate fully geared up. I also tore my sock with doing it along with a huge gouge in my knee pad cap.

But I'm always covered in bruises and scrapes. I've bruised my tail bone and had a hematoma in my butt cheek.
I've seen breaks, tears and sprains way worse than mine. A dislocated jaw that she played the other half of the game was a recent one....

It's actually kind of funny now that it's gotten better. :p I was starting a run with my dog (50lb border collie/shepherd) and was looking down at my phone to change a song. I started running, she bumps into my right leg, like we're talking just f***ing taps it, I lose my balance and step with my left leg. My left knee bends inward, I step with my right again and still can't get my balance, step with my left too far and fall forward, hyperextending it, hearing a pop over my head phones, and somersaulting to the ground like a failed ninja. it swelled immediately and I ended up getting a ride from the postal lady back to my apartment. 4 weeks later, I'm off couch duty and finally Igor limping around. :p

The other times were minor-first was playing tennis and it took half a day to heal (I guess I was more bending back in my young age haha!) and then a second time during a snow storm. My foot stepped through a foot print expecting some slipperiness from the snow, but actually was concrete. So my foot stuck and I fell forward, hyperextending it. :p

I'm pretty clumsy and pretty active (the two are a bad combination!)......
My winning *fail* was breaking my shoulder in March this year.... really messes with the exercise regime. Had a really unlucky fall off my bike (on a cycle route, no-one else involved). I am a qualified National Standards cycle trainer, a MTB trail leader and a British Cycling L2 coach..... oops!

I'll be honest, I was pretty proud of that bruise. Never had one like it before (and don't wish to have one like it ever again!). Took 8 days to come out and then lasted for about 2 weeks. I still have a bruise on my leg from the accident which was 7 months ago!

during a crossfit competition two weekends ago, I was doing 24" box jumps and was trying to go too quickly (to WIN, you know!) and I ended up smashing my shin on the side of the box when I didn't quite make it to the top. I ended up not finishing the competition and instead visiting the ER for 4 internal stitches and 7 external stitches. A week an a half later, I'm just getting off of crutches and am slowly letting my torn muscle heal. No more crossfit for another month :(

Isolated abdominal side crunches at the gym. Was going too low on the side to side and I was using a 6kg ball.

Gave my self a nice little hernia and groin muscle pull!

The hernia is not bad enough for an operation (as per my doctor). So, now I need to be careful about every exercise & class.

Nothing but stupid tax!

I'm a clumsy clut(as my dad loves to say often). I fell off my bike dozens of time growing up(most bumps, bruises & scrapes and a few face plants which are always worse when wearing plastic framed glasses. I sat down on a soccer ball and fell over, dr thought it was just a sprain until they x-rayed weeks later only to find a fracture healing. My friends and I were playing around a house that was being built and I decided to cross the back section that was cut out for the back door. My friend put up his hands for me to walk over. That's the last thing I remember, but I busted the back of my head open on the bricks. Ah, the recklessness of youth.

Of course this morning, I went to re-tuck my 3 yr old in and just plain fell over and sprained(I think) my wrist.I still did my workout this morning, but took it easy on my right arm.

I was doing burpees into pullups, the pullup bar is a little high for me, so I really had to jump. Not Smart. I hyperextended my arm
and had a complete tear of my Distal Bicep Tendon. Required surgery, and was in a series of different casts for months. I couldn't
lift for 6 months, my arm looked like a twig, and I had to start from scratch.
I can still do pullups, but I'll never jump up again !

I decided to try a new preworkout one time...they gave me a sample at the place to try it first. So I took it before my workout....it worked great! Too great, I kept on thinking "I can do more, I'm not even tired yet." I ended up tearing my pec and had to go to the doctor....sucked....

yah you would probably need to be on a computer - upload it to http://imgur.com/ or wherever u prefer and wrap it in tags without the space before the last bracket. if I didn't do it like that they disappear.... like magic.
