I have some SERIOUS catching up to do. I am so used to running back and forth from the door to the phone and helping co-workers with every little thing. But the last 2 weeks, there's been another woman doing a lot of the "leg work" as it were, while she's on light duty. Meaning, I get a lot more sit here and fix this problem kind of work done and a LOT less walking/sprinting to customers!!
11/1: 4.53 mi
11/2: 5.19 mi
11/3: 4.16 mi
11/4: Day off from work = lazy day at home.. 1.14 mi
11/5: 7.93 mi
11/6: 5.18 mi
11/7: 5.13 mi
11/8: 5.29 mi
11/9: 5.65 mi
11/10: slow work day, 3.97 mi
11/11: Day off from work.. but I got out a bit! 3.43 mi
11/12: Day off from work (Veteran's Day) but I got out and went walking! 4.02 mi
11/13: 5.02 mi
11/14: 4.83 mi
11/15: 5.21 mi
11/16: 4.29 mi

Not sure I'm gonna make it to goal this month... I've been doing a lot more yoga and less walking since it's so dark out when I get home!!! :-( But I'm gonna keep trying; 5 days off for Thanksgiving means more daylight hours to get out there with the pup. Because honestly, if I didn't have him, I wouldn't be out there walking at all.
So today, we did 3.31 miles.

Just finished the Turkey Trot 5k! The race was 3.2 miles instead of 3.1. Not sure what the deal is with that.
Anyway... This race was pretty rough for me. I've been having some medical issues for the last two weeks, so I haven't been doing much cardio (still watching my calories though.) Since this is a personal goal challenge, I think I'm gonna change my goal to 50 miles for the month. Feel like I'm slacking, but I rather be safe than sorry!

I hate to report that I won't be able to continue my challenge. After clearing 63 of my 130 miles, I will be sidelined for awhile. I'm having heart surgery Monday morning and will be in recovery mode until next year. I hope to get back at it in January or February. Good luck to you all! Happy Holidays.
