OK - who's up to trying to lose 5 pounds in November? Here's how it works:

Let's see how many total pounds we can lose in November. Aim for 5, then let us know at month's end what your total is.

Here's what you do:

Just for fun: Given that this is November, and the time of year for the American holiday of Thanksgiving - what is one thing you are thankful for each week about your health and fitness journey?

    June: Lost 6 pounds
    July: Lost 6 pounds
    August: Lost 4 pounds
    September: 3 pounds
    October: 4 pounds
    Total: 25 pounds

    SW: 178
    CW: 153
    GW for end of Oct: 148 (ambitious and unlikely, but would be fantastic!)
    UGW: 130

    End Sept. Goal: 156-157 (met)

    GW: 165 (will lower it once I reach there)

    Don't flip when my weight jumps (cycle time), but it will go down after!
    Tough month.....3 house guests for 2 weeks, Thanksgiving & 2 birthdays...........I must like a challenge.

    Thanks for motivating me to exercise.

    Just switched from sparks to myfitnesspal. I'm in for the challenge! I'm going on holiday for about a week and half so no access to gym and hopefully I can control my eating to smarter choices....

    I AM SO IN... 2.2 kg for me :)
    I am trying not to focus on the scales too much and trying to focus on how clothes look/feel and muscle tone... but if I could drop a couple kilos this month it would be great! I'll give this a go - but if I don't see a change on the scale, its cause of muscle-gain from working out 6 times a week!
    Anyways, good luck guys!!

    I am thankful for... Well this quote that I found sums it up...

    "I workout, because I can. When I get tired, or I am short on time, or I want to quit...I think about how lucky I am to be healthy enough to workout daily. Be grateful for your health and your ability to become STRONGER. Don't ever take it for granted!"

    I'm in!!! This sounds fun and very, very challenging considering it is the beginning of the holiday hustle and bustle but I'm in because I need some motivation from somewhere and it looks like it will be coming in the form of strangers for me. :D

    I'm thankful to still be passing my radiography classes after yesterdays horrible test and to have been able to spend a little time with my family, whom I have not spent a significant amount of time with since Aug. 15, 2012. Only 2 years to GO!!! Yay!!
