150-160 ladies! what are your measurements?

I've been trying to get my hips down FOREVER. I've come to the unfortunate conclusion that my hips are the last place I'm going to lose from.

Measurement are:
Bust: 36.5-37
Waist: 29.5
Hips: 42.5-43 >.<

My main goal right now is to get my hips below 40!!

I'm 5'2", 155-157 lbs.

Gah! Hopefully soon!

    hey, if i can make a suggestion...get on that stationary bike! once i started cycling my love handles, hips and bum totally reshaped in 5 weeks only! it was amazing. lol. worth a shot! also a great high cal burn in a short period of time!

    Back in my 20's, I was 5'4" and weighed between 140 - 150 lb. My measurements at 140 lb were:

    37-25-39

    I was a pear then, and a pear now. I say, keep working your way down the scale and working out, but don't be surprised if your basic shape stays roughly the same.

    I haven't measured in months so I ran upstairs to check because I was curious -

    Bust: 31-32" (under breast), 34-35" (including boobage)
    Waist: 29" (was a bit smaller but I'm retaining at the moment)
    Hips: 35-36"

    5'5", 150 lbs, size 6-8 in bottoms, S to M in tops

    I'm not too concerned with the numbers as much as I am concerned with body fat decreasing. I'm currently about 24% and would like to get to 18% eventually.

    I can't find my tape measure so I haven't done measurements in a while! In May my hips were 43.5" (around my butt and the widest part of my hips). I started at 45.75" when I was 185. I was 161 at the time and wearing an 8 or 10.

    I'm 144 now and in a 4, wish I could tell you my measurements because I have no idea if I'm under 40" yet! I'm 5'6" btw!

    5'2.5'', not sure if I'm medium or large framed framed, I weigh 160 lbs

    Chest = 38
    Waist = 33
    Hips = 40

    I'm such in a bad shape. :( And I'm new here. I need friends? I think I'd stay motivated if I have some.

    Edit: I would looveee to be under 30 in waist and 23 inch thigh.

    Regardless of whether I'm a size 6 or a size 24 (and I've been both), my hips are always a size larger than my thighs and upper body (and often close to 2 sizes larger than my waist), so I do feel you. But... Might a more productive goal be to reach what is generally considered a "healthy weight" for your height? Or to have some other health or fitness related goal? I accepted long ago that I will never be slim hipped like some of my friends (even if they have higher BMIs), it's just not how I'm built and not how my body stores fat. I can obsess about the hips that only a grandchild-crazed mother-in-law could love, or I can focus on other goals (e.g. being healthy and strong) that I'm (1) more likely to achieve, and (2) are more meaningful anyway.

    I have a rectangular shape and the numbers aren't that different , give or take, from when I weigh 135 lbs. I don't seem to really lose inches which is odd now that I think about it, and can still wear the size 29 jeans.
