So at work today my hubs sent me flowers (see pic)
He NEVER sends me flowers unless I hint very well or beg. These were "Just Because"

The note read "Just Because. They look pretty. Just like you"

Let's share what our SO has done for us lately... whether big or small to help us with our weight loss or "Just Because"

Very sweet of him to send those to you! "Just Because" flowers are the best! :flowerforyou:

    Beautiful flowers!

My husband leaves me a love note almost every morning in front of my coffee maker. Each one tells me how much he loves me and why. That's just one of the many things he does each day to let me know that I am the most important person in his life.

My husband leaves random notes around the house telling me how much he loves me, how beautiful i am, how thankful he is for me.....i love him ALOT!!!!

He also leaves notes occasionally for our four children....especially when he cant be home to send them off to school which doesnt happen very often thankfully!

He helps me around the house and with the kids.....there is nothing that he wont do for me and he is always asking me if i need anything....he is the best husband ever and i dont know what i would do with out him. We will be married for thirteen years in march

My bf is agreeing to do the C25K and eat healthier once we get moved out and back on track. He wants to do a 5k run with me :) Other than that, he's just all around sweet and likes to remind me he loves me regardless of looks etc.

My Honey showed up last Saturday unannounced and said he was going to mow the front and back yard for me. Then he went to the store and got stuff to put out for the ants. After that he took me and my daughter to lunch. More recently he sent me a text in the middle of the day that said "Im missing you and thought you should know" *sigh* I  him

Even though my SO does not need to lose weight, he cooks low-cal meals for the both of us every night. He also puts up with all my whining about not losing fast enough or how much I HATE exercise! Sometimes, I just need someone to listen without offering a solution, and he does that. Makes this journey a lot easier when you have support at home!

I love your flowers... very beautiful.

Mine showed up on Halloween with a pumpkin he carved of my fav disney character - Ariel from The Little Mermaid. The thought terrifies him, but he did it for me and is apparently willing to go with me in Sept to see the 3D release with my niece.

There are men out there who do this? Where are they?

I used to bring little treats and do stuff like that... even though it wasn't reciprocated but I quit on Valentines day when the flowers he stopped for (at the gas station on the way home from work) were plastic.

I definately envy all of you with lovely stories of how your partner shows that he thinks of you. Notes... flowers... t-shirt... support... so great.

He has traveled hundreds of miles with me... and my kids and dog.
He cooks for and WITH me.
He taught me how to make pupusas and curtido.
He has made tamales with me.
He ran 5, 6, then 7 miles with me when I was training for a half marathon. (he's a cyclist)
He's let me borrow one of his bikes.
He's taken me on several dates... even though he was very clear when we first met that he does NOT date. (lol)
Even if he's not tired, he'll let me take a nap on him.
He's taken days off of work to simply be my emotional support (and go hiking with me).
He brings wine and starts my fireplace.
Encourages me to be the person I should be, and am capable of being.
All around, my guy is amazing, and deserves to be treated as such.
    :smooched:

Ohh I didn't know so many men were so sweet! If I had known that maybe I wouldn't be a lesbian!! Hmm probably not.. My SO supports me on this journey and doesnt complain when I wake her every workout morning at 545am to let her know she is in charge of the our sons for the next hour and a half. And she put up with my *****ing and moaning about weight loss/gain struggles! I will kepp her around alittle longer

While I cannot really go into some of the amazing things he has done for me or because of me, he is amazing. He cooks often, and has changed the foods that he cooks to correspond with my changes, he texts me every morning just to see how my day is going and to tell me he loves me, he will take pictures of pretty flowers in people's yards to send to me, plus, he throws down in the sack like a mofo!
