    Jacque I will be praying for your sister.

    ok well did not expect anything this morning but my weight this morning was 197, which is a 3 pound loss, yes a 3 pounds. :drinker: Gives me lots of encouragement that this is going to happen.

    well weight is 244.2 is up from 243.4 probally the pizza I had late last night. After dinner I went and hanged out with my sister and at 9:30 they decided to order pizza.
    My sister order a veggi and told everyone that i was gonna share with her. So at 10:00 last night I ate 3 slices while we were gabbing. I know bad move but I was not gonna say no. So I am gonna try and be good tomorrow at my sister new grandbaby baby sprinkle. Baby #2 for her, another little girl. She so happy esp since all she raised was boys. Will be able to go grocery shooping and get good food this weekend so here to a new day

    Happy Friday everyone!

    Today's weight is 163.8 - yeah, a loss. Perhaps I've finally got it right.

    Not working today --neither me or hubby. I went to curves now we are heading out for errands, movie and maybe I can talk him into a meal out.. Maybe.... something other than movie popcorn. Since I'm working this weekend, we are treasuring today.

    Staying in calorie goal today will be tough...

    Jacque - hang in there. New day new start.

    Let's try this again.

    I was right about having a rebound this week. I'm not surprised. I know I was dehydrated last week. Back up to 216.2 this week. That a gain of 1.2 lbs from last week. But it is still down 3 lbs from 2 weeks ago. Since my MFP goal is set at 1.5 lbs a week, 3 lbs is right on target.:happy: I'm not going to consider this week a gain since I seriously doubt I actually gained any body fat this week. I truly believe it was just my body getting back to it's correct water levels.

    I plan to get back to C25K starting Monday. I'm going to try doing week2 and hope that I'm still at that level. I had just started week2 when I got sick. I really don't want to go back to week1 again. On the days I don't do C25K, I'll be doing either BL yoga or boot camp. I haven't decided which one yet. I think I may do both today. Work is closed due to bad weather, so I have time to kill.

    Kelly, I hope today is your good day and that you have plenty more following. You deserve it. :flowerforyou:

    Jacque, I'm really sorry to hear about your sis. I hope all goes well next week. Keep us posted.

    Barb & Sindy, good job on being losers this week!! Keep it up!!

    Miss V, hope the vet visit goes well today. Let us know what he says. And feel free to vent about being a one man band. I think we all can sympathize. He sounds like he needs a good smack upside the head. :laugh:

    Hope everyone has a good day. I'm going to do my best to stick to my food plans while I'm at home today. I'm so much better at work. I don't have DH's junk food taunting me and I don't get as bored. Boredom + junk food = BAD NEWS FOR CRYSTAL!!!!!!!!!!!

    You ladies are doing so SO well!! Look at all the wt losses here!! Yippy! I am so proud of you and very happy!! Good job on logging your foods, staying within cals and getting in the exercise. It **IS** working!! Pat yourself on the back!! Nice job!! Just coming here keeps me motivated and it is helping me feel better...

    For the gainers, eh, likely water, no big deal. Just keep at it!! I am up a lb, and well, I know why.

    Well, I went to the city today to get some groceries, and have all my healthy food...now, no reason for me to fill up on junk. will plan out my meals ahead of time and get back to logging. also got my haircut, so that has helped me feel a little better. no more highlight tho...glad I do that myself. not sure what the weekend holds...dh is off and I don't have wrestling. too cold to do anything outdoors. an opportunity no doubt to get in a good workout both days! up to me....just do it!

    Well, wishin you all a great weekend. keep doing what you're doing and treat Sat/Sun just a week day! Will get the chart updated tomorrow! You gals did a very nice job!

    Cindy ~ woot woot, 3 lbs!! way to go!!

    Pup is doing good, took him back to the vet yesterday and found out taht he is not diabetic! which but they told me taht he did have an enlarged heart the other day and that this thing taht happened might just be a heart attack. They gave me a referal to a cardio guy but i cant pay out any more money, so i am gonna get him skinnier and love him to death until it is his time! They didnt say anything about him needing a health plan or anything and he seems to be VERy healthy so i am fine with that!
    Ate crap from jack in the box this morning:( so here goes my day......

    Hey everyone -- it's snowing in NJ. My friends a hour south of me, near Atlantic City started to get the snow early afternoon.
    Due to the snow, we're not going out dancing at the casinos. Instead I went to the grocery store.

    I will be over in calories today - probably 75-100 but hey, that's OK. Had we gone dancing - it would have been more -- add a drink - add two -- add appetiziers - well, you get the idea.

    Miss V - good to hear the pup is not diabetic. Heart attack - referral to cardio. I like your idea - just love him. And what a cutie he is to love.

  • I am up a tiny bit this week to 213.8 pounds. I don't mind gaining .2 of a pound a week. I least it is baby and not eating too much. Friday was a bad day for me. I went over in my calories by about 1000 calories and that is with 145 minutes of exercise. For some reason was really hungry yesterday. I did much better today even if I had 4 serving of fully frosted animal crackers.

    Jacque - I hope your sister has a speedy recovery.

    Miss V - I am glad your puppy doesn't have diabetes but sorry to hear he has a enlarged heart.

    Kelly - Getting hair cut always make me feel better.

    gosh darn it i am sick again....been achy, headache, tired, 101* temp, eyes burn, lots of abdominal pain. and for some weird thing, feeling very 'menstrual' crampy. flu, viral? twice in one month has me a lil concerned. NO nausea, diarrhea or vomiting this time. bummed to be home/ off and feeling sick. many fluids and much rest here. i did not get my annual flu sho and i know illness is starting go around again....

    Miss V ~ i am so glad your lil guy is doing ok. he is sure to have a very happy, long life with all of your care and love! *hugs*!!

    Barb ~ are you near the coast? one of my favorite places is Ship Bottom. spent a week there in '03 with my boys, parents. and then just a day trip w/ mom and sis in '07. love the ocean there! hey, put on some tunes and boogie!

    have a good one and i hope to be feeling better in the am.

    Well, one month down for 2010, and no good results for me, at least not what I stated Jan 1st. I did actually lose wt this week, but am at the weight I was on Jan1. Definately not in the right mindset the last 2 wks, compared to my posts from earlier in the month. So, I really gotta try harder and need to get serious. My wt loss and fitness goals need to become a priority, each and every day. I know there will be ups and downs, but I truly want it to be life changing. I need to focus on eating good, 90% of the time, while still having my favorite foods in moderation. Increasing my fitness goals will improve my cardiovascular level while reshaping and transforming my body to one that is slimmer and toned. Who doesn't want that?! So, just a little pep talk for myself here. Making a place for me to be accountable to.

    My daily goals for this week *firstly, get rid of this abdominal pain I a still having*
    ~ 8 glasses of water
    ~ stay within calories and LOG
    ~ exercise, 30 minutes, and work towards 1 hr
    ~ stay active and positive each day!

    Nite all! Here's to a new Month, a new Monday, and the need to reach our goals for better health!

    hey ladies - was over today. Not because I ate junk - just no exercise. Overall, I ate healthy - only had some instant pudding & cool whip for dessert. However, I did eat a crispy chicken sandwich & jr frosty (the 160 calorie size) for lunch. My dear buddy wanted to take me out - how could I say no to a friend of nearly 20 yrs.

    Anyway - here's to a new week.

    Kelly - I live 1 hour to 2 hours plus drive to the shore. Depending on what Jersey beach we head to. The Cape May area is 2 hours plus drive. Our friends live near Atlantic City. There are 10 minutes away from the city.

    Had a good day out today!
    Went and alked a whole lot. Hubby took us to a buffet (Havnt been to one in years) and I was glad that most of the choices there had MEAT, so I had a healthy great lunch! and I didnt go back a million times!!! YAY! I started off with a plate with tons of salad, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, sunflower seeds, cauliflower no dressing. then got some honeydew, half a piece of baked fish that I threw in a small tortilla with lots of lettuce and some salsa, and to ent it 1/2 cup fat free sugar free frozen yogart! YAY me!
    Sorry if this made you hungry, I am just so very happy to have made those healthy choices out and about! I hope that you all have a wonferul night!

    It is hard for me to log on the week ends, I am working the second job and no access to any sight but work related, but I have been writing everything down and did very well over week end stayed with in calories and no binging.

    Kelly I know how you feel, I was starting to feel better two days after I finished meds doc put me on, but this week I may be getting sick again, even though Friday I called and told him I thought I was still sick. Now I am going to have to see him again and another copayment and maybe meds again. I wish my doctor would listen or realize with the lupus I alway get put on antibiotics longer than most. all he has to do is go back to the last couple of times. Its has been almost a month since I first felt sick. :grumble:

    Anyway. everyone is doing very good. Lets keep this going. :bigsmile:

    Hope you all had a good weekend and no major setbacks, and if so, well, just move on ahead! Eventually our behaviors and choices we've had to think through will become gut instinct. Eventually, this whole lifestyle change will get easier for us, and we will be accustomed to how great it feels to treat ourself *well*, every day!! Bottom line is, we can never go back to our old ways if we want to maintain our wt loss goals. Every little victory is worth celebrating.....one good meal, a good day, a lb lost, a size smaller, longer workout minutes, the list goes on!! Yippy, stand up and cheer! You can do this and I believe in YOU!!

    Barb ~ it's ok to have a day or two off from exercising...you had a great week last week, and I know you'll have another one this week! What a nice time for you and your friend! How special! The trip that I took with my mom and sister, we also went to Cape May, Atlantic City and Philly! I love the East coast!

    Miss V ~ way to go @ the buffet! We can still go out to eat and enjoy it!! proud of you. I'm still working on that whole buffet thing....

    Cindy ~ as busy as you are, I think you are doing real well....keeping track, in your calorie range. Don't change a thing! Hope you and I both get better soon. This whole tummy thing is new to me. Lastnite @ bedtime it almost felt like gas pains. Still having some navel pain (inner), but not as bad. Lower back pain seemed worse this am., and that could be from laying around all weekend...stiff all over. My temp is gone and it has almost been a 1/2 hr since I ate, and no major cramping yet..** fingers crossed**!

    Well, here's to a great day team! Hey ladies, you're changing your life!! Be the strong women that I know you are! :heart:

    Woke up with the neck ache and the cough and the sore throat:( not very happy about that!, and aunt flow came on by this morning :(
    feeling like a bag of garbage, Hope that I can get up and out this afternoon to meet the gym.

    The weekend was okay. I actually attempted to log, but I didn't stick to it very well by the end of the day yesterday. At least it was a step in the right direction.

    Hitting the gym after work today to do C25K w2. I hope I'm at that level. I worried I might need to go back to week1. My asthma is still giving me fits. I feel a little like I've gone backwards. My lungs just haven't been the same since I got sick.

    Kelly, Miss V, and Sindy, I hope you all feel better quickly.

    Crystal ~ I feel like I am starting on day one, with everything! I know no activity for 2 wks has had an affect on *all* of my abilities. Oh, well, not gonna let that stop me...pain for a few days and by the weekend, a little more energetic and better spirits! Looking forward to that! You'll be back in the swing of things soon!

    For all those not quite feeling themselves -- here's wishing your feel good days soon!

    I have a very hectic week at work -- will be at alternate locations every day this week. So that means no lunch walk no end of work day workout. Just curves. Two days this week I'm expecting to be home LATE. And I'm in the office 1-2 hours earlier than normal due to the training I'm involved in.
    I'm truly hoping to get to curves 3x this week. And somehow I need to get at least one 1.5 run and push-ups/sit-ups. All I ask for this week is one fitness test elements this week -- next week I can do more.
    The better goal is to stay w/in calorie counts.

    have a good week y'all - yes in South Jersey, I say y'all.

    Okay, after a stutter start at the beginning of the year, I am finally logging food and exercise ladies!! I have missed you all so much!     Well it was a very long day yesterday, But she came out well. Unhappy about not being able to move for 12-24 hours but well.Now the hard part, she will be sown about 6 weeks and she is so not happy. Its gonna be fun for all of us. I just got into work and as soon as I leave I either go to her or drive an hour out of town to pick up Nephew so it will be a long week. Sometime I got to get laundry done to leave for San Antonio for DD competition, she sooo excited wants to win real bad at Nationals. So ladies I know I will be makin a big mistake but me time is not gonna happen and now with Sis down and we have to help her recover and take turns driving nephew to work well lets just say I will be on the run mostly. Will try to eat clean but who knows, I really need to walk so I might have to do mini walks at work. Well go to get back to work so I catch ya later

    When I got home last night I just wanted something fast so I could get some sleep, but I was a couple of hundred calories short and I got the under calories message. But still I am sticking to calories and will try to not go over or under too much. I really need to drink my water but I am finding it really hard to drink 8 glasses. I just like my chicken noodle soup when I am not feeling well I added a slice of bread to up the calories.

    Morning Team!! Feeling pretty good today...just ate my brkfst so letting that settle some, and hopefully the belly cramps are gone now. More snow here last nite, so will be out shoveling in a bit. BL tonite, so I am excited for that! :bigsmile: Will keep busy today working on my chore list. All I managed to get in yesterday was WATP 2 mile, but I did use 5 lb wts. Didn't want to rush back into the workout with having the temp over the weekend. Well, have a great day everyone, make it count! Let's try as best we can to have a healthy week! We can do this!

    Jacque ~ I am so glad your sister is ok. Now, might be the hard part...for all of you. Focus on one day at a time. There's sure to be some challenges for all of you, but you seem to have a caring family and I know you will get thru this. We'll all be here for you, good times and bad.....vents and celebrations! Just remember to try and take good care of you too! YOU matter! {{{hugs}}} :heart:

    Sindy ~ I have good and bad water days. One thing that helps me is this 32 oz bottle I have that I keep at my kitchen sink. I try to get 1 down by noon, and then the next by supper time or so. Sometimes I buy fresh lemons or limes and slice them and add to my water. In the summer I freeze them and then it's like a frozen cube of lemon or lime in my water. Remember there is water in some of our fruits, veggies, soups, etc.....so that counts too. I have a rule that I can't get on MFP until I have had a glass of water!! and I drink a glass before each meal...Here's to another good day! YAY!
