great post.....I only have 7 chooks right now but I have been out in PJs 'serving' warm porridge, pasta, rice with veggies, beans and a variety of other dishes to the girls in late fall and winter. Their coop is not heated and I sometimes just feel a bit guilty for having a nice hot cup of coffee or tea while the girls are getting up to start the day......now they will all but attack me when they see me coming with a nice treat but it is funny that they also still take notice of the PJ pants - any pattern, polka dots, my little sheep or hearts on the pants will get pecked and investigated between beakfuls of warm breakfast....one does not want to miss out on anything, LOL :drinker:
