I had to post it on an MFP blog, because my mother-in-law reads my other blog. :blushing:

Your mother in law doesn't know you have sex? Or.... she didn't know you lost interest in it? To quote my mother, talking to some younger people, "you kids think you invented something new....."0

lol. my mother in law has walked in on us having sex. Doesn't mean I want to talk to her about it or have her read something where I'm talking about it.0 -
Haha, I love it!0

This post made me laugh! Thank you for sharing something so encouraging!
Congratulations on bringing the sexy back!0 -
Yay for you!
One of the reasons I love to exercise besides the results to my body is that it makes me really, really randy… :bigsmile:0 -
Awesome NSV! And I totally understand it. I feel a lot less self-conscious during sex now.0

My in-laws are in their mid-70s, and they talk about sex. And hey, good for them! I'm glad my hubby has good genes. But I don't know that I really need to hear about their sex life. And I figure if they are reading about mine, that might encourage them to talk about theirs... and I don't necessarily want to encourage that. :laugh:0 -

Haha, my MIL talks about her sex life to me all the time and no matter how much I beg her to stop it, she just keeps doing it. She's only in her 40s, but I still don't want to hear about it. Just like I really didn't need to see that dirty note my dad wrote my stepmom. *shivers*0 -

I do have a question though. Do women who are or feel heavy really not enjoy sex?
I dunno. But I can tell you that since losing more than 10% of my body weight I enjoy sex 1,000% more.
And once I lose 50% of my body weight? It bottles the mind!0 -

I am assuming its just a confidence thing? I am just trying to understand the mind of women, because I know never in my life have I not enjoyed sex because of my weight. I love it every single time!0 -

For women it isn't just physical, it is very emotional, some women can't even "get there" if the emotional is not also all in place. So, just the thought of needing to be thinner, more attractive, etc, will affect how she feels, how she thinks her partner feels about how she looks, all connecting with her confidence. Add in the fact that she knows how visual men are, and if her partner has ever commented on her weight...... it's just a lot better if she is feeling good about herself.0 -

So its not a weight thing, its a confidence thing. Even if a woman was thin and looked great, if she has the mindset that she is unattractive or heavy she is not going to enjoy herself? You ladies need to be much easier on yourselves. Men really are not that hard to please.0 -
It's not that we wouldn't enjoy it. It is that it is much MORE enjoyable when all of the factors are in place.
