    My favorite is Silent Night.

    I hate pretty much all the rest, especially Jingle Bells, Here Comes Santa Claus, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, or any of the other kiddie songs.

    Christmas Shoes is not worthy of being called a Carol. I'm not sure it's worthy of being called music.

    Enough Already: sorry, I cannot stomach the Trans Siberian Orchestra. DH likes it, though.

    Hate the 12 Days of Christmas (will the song ever end? Please????)

    Every time I hear "Do You Hear What I Hear?" I think, how stupid!:
    "A child, a child, shivers in the cold
    Let us bring him silver and gold...." ummmm what about a blanket? Or some warm clothes? I don't think silver and gold will help too much if he's shivering in the cold!


    Really like the Italian Christmas Donkey (hee-haa)
    Like most of the classics.

    Love the Coventry Carol though not a lot of people have heard of it .

    Can't stand Fairytale of New York but only because of the line " And the boys from the NYPD choir were singing Galway Bay "
    as it makes me think of my dad ( most of my family are from Galway) and I miss him so much at Christmas :brokenheart:

    I don't think I hate any of them...but when I was a kid I didn't have front teeth for over 2 years so "All I Want for Christmas is my two front teeth" was sung at me constantly...haha

    I like most Christmas songs. My favorite is probably Mary Do You Know. I also like Do You Hear What I Hear.

    My least favorite used to be Joy to the World. Then I moved the NJ and heard Dominick the Donkey. I hate Dominick the Donkey. I've never heard Christmas Shoes.

    My favorite Christmas song would have to be 'Fairytale of Newyork' by the Pogues.

    My most hated would have to be Paul McCartney's 'Wonderful Christmas Time'. You know, that song where he drones on 'Simply having a wonderful Christmas time' for like 3 minutes? I've always imagined that to be the song running through a serial killers head shortly before going on a spree... :grumble:

    i love the 12 things i hate about christmas or whatever it's called... it's so friggin funny! I dunno what one i hate most... probably the shoes one because it's friggin depressing

    **The only thing I don't like about this is that everyone I hear sing it embelishes the "ishhhhhhhhhh" in wish and it drives me nuts.

    Favourite: I have plenty of these but the ones that come to mind immeditately is Little Drummer Boy and Santa Baby

    Second most hated: any song with a guy singing Santa Baby OR My Favorite things. It's just creepy!!

    I can't say I really have a favorite one, I think it all depends on who is singing and the music behind it. I'm a huge fan of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, they add some serious intensity to your average Christmas song.

    Can't say I hate any of the songs but they do start grating on my nerves about 2 weeks in to playing them on the radio. My Favorite though is Oh Holy Night
