Who cares? As long as I can eat Tastykake butterscotch krimpets, I'm happy.
I have never heard of Tastykake until today. But where I live, Wonder Bread and Hostess snack cakes will be sorely missed by many. Lots of the unemployed workers will be in my area. :frown:0 -
Wow, it seems my comment was quite controversial.
I promise you, I don't care if someone else wants to eat low quality food.
I would just prefer it out of my sight.
I'm sure there's lots of better things people could eat anyway. I did specify "low quality"!
There's plenty of high quality, nutritious substitutes for these things!
You are young yet. Discipline is learned. :flowerforyou:
If you choose not to eat something, that's great. You must make that choice for you. Others clearly enjoy eating food that you believe to be "low quality," or there wouldn't be a market for them. Consumers want it, so they sell.
I guess I probably don't understand because I never eat the things.
I was just a bit surprised at the backlash. I'm not a dictator0 -

Agreed. Another proud moment to be Canadian.
Twinkies suck anyway.
I find it interesting so many are getting so upset that the twinkie factory in the US is shutting down...it just goes to show that not much has changed in their mentality when it comes to their health and diet. And those that have run out to buy a bunch of twinkles....just sad.0 -

It just sounds bad the way you said it because it's as if you are saying that others should not eat them either. By wishing them gone, you have indicated that you don't want anyone else to eat them.0
