I have two black cats! I got a soft spot for them when I first learned that black cats are the least likely kitties to be adopted and find homes, and also the most likely to be euthanized because "nobody wants them".

One is a three year old girl with green eyes and she's the sweetest little kitty I've ever met.

The other is a 5 month old boy with brown eyes who is nearly as big as the three year old and ...well....he knows who my favourite is. haha he's cute about 60% of the time and really, really bad the rest!

Two whippet boys, a whippet x saluki girl, an 18 year old ginger tomcat, 3 outdoor goldfish and 4 white cloud mountain minnows that I only got two months ago and they have just had about 30 babies!

1 dog (husky/saluki/german shepherd mix) named Glacias who has more energy than any animal I've met ever. She trains with me for marathons and when you get back after a 20k run will still bring you toys to throw!

2 fantastic cats: Spitzy (2 year old calico with gorgeous green eyes who likes to headbutt your hand while you're sleeping) and BC (1 year old black cat who insists on leading me down to the basement every morning just so that she can be carried back up)

A very lazy Shih Tzu, a crazy cat and I have more or less accepted my daughter guinea pig as my own. I have been considering getting a bigger dog (my favorite is a Golden Retriever) so I can give myself a reason to walk everyday.

I have 10 goldfish and all of them are nearly 3 years old and i love them.

Currently: Show puppies!! Well not anymore they are retired and not puppies anymore either but I still call them that! We have a neurotic 65 lbs brindle boxer girl Penni and a very laid back 85lbs fawn boxer boy Vibe as well as a 12 year old cat Tigger and a corn snake Jake.

I've always had a somewhat of a zoo! We often rescued unwanted lizards this is actually the lowest we have been, I've had (but not all at the same time!) iguanas, crested gecko, leopard and fat tail geckos, Veiled chameleons, a rat, birds, plated lizard, bearded dragon (who we tought was a boy and was named Blackie but turn out to be a girl so she became Barbie!) as well as my first boxer love who was the absolute best dog Gazou who's at the bridge and my gigantic 30lbs cat Panther also at the bridge.

We have the most amazing family dog. She is a husky/shepherd/basenji cross. Her name is Shianne. She truly is a member of our family - and gets anxious when we aren't all at home together when it's bed time. She helps me tuck the kids in by laying in each of their rooms while I give them hugs and kisses and super-duper tuck ins.

She just turned 10, and has slowed down significantly in the last 6 months. :-( We all love her to bits.

Currently, the animals that let us live with them are.. Clyde: a yellow lab/rottweiler mix (6 yrs), Clover: a Sheltie mix (2 years) and Lady Vox: a red-headed calico cat (10 yrs old).

They are sweet and lovable.. but Clyde's growl can be terrifying. Until there's a thunderclap or a pop gun nearby. Then he's cowering under my desk, pushing my feet aside! LOL
