I have a 3 month old English black lab/boarder collie mix named Merlin. It amazing how much love and excitement this little guy had brought my husband and I!

I also have a Merlin! Buet he's an orange tabby cat. I named him that because he kept magically appearing at my kitchen window every night when I was making dinner. He was a stray and I eventually took him in 2 and a half years ago now. He's a total sweetheart.

I also have a tuxedo cat named Layla, who I adopted when she was 3 months old from an orphan kitten rescue program. She is a total princess, but the sweetest, snuggliest little princess one could ask for.

One day I will have a dog too! I love dogs, but can't have one yet. My Dad has had 3 that I've loved - a german shepard husky cross which he gopt when I was 12 and was the dog that made me love dogs, a shepard-akita cross who recently passed, and he still has a 12 year old black lab akita cross!

a 13 month old fat tabby named Peanut and a 4 month old little black dramaqueen kitten named Marceline. I had a cornsnake named Killer once, but I gave him up for adoption to a friend before I moved in with my fiance.

Currently......1 rescue Malamute, Rain. She is in my profile pc. 5 cats, all rescues. 7 chickens......Lola, Thelma, Amber, Lucy&Ethel, Scarlett, Harriett :bigsmile: And yes, the chooks are all providing breakfast, take care of bug patrol , provide fertilizer and are walking lawn ornaments ......

I have a year old [ this month ] short haired, Calico kitty, named Fayth; she is black, white and brown.
She was four months old when I got her from the shelter.
She is a lovebug, and I don't know what I would do without her. :flowerforyou:

All have been saved from our apartment complex.

We have 3 puppy dogs, all resues. A 5 yr old brindle boxer named Maddy. She's my best friend and jogging partner. Shes the queen of our house and believes she's human Lol! A 2ish year old Chi/rat terrier mix named O.P. ( short for other puppy- he was a stray that was booted out of a moving car into our yard. A skinny poor little sickly thing and I was bound and determined to nurse him back to health and find him a good home so I refused to name him; hence "other puppy" lol. He grew on us and a year later hes's still here and O.P. just stuck). Then there's our newest addition Cocoa. He's a 4 month old chocolate lab from our local shelter. We'd have a zoo if the hubby would let me!
