just out of curiosity...

what time of day do you find you eat the most? (i was reading the "BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT meal of the day" post, and it got me thinking.. ) WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU FIND YOU ARE INTAKING THE MOST AMOUNT OF FOOD (whether it be portion or calorie wise)?

"breakfast time"?!?
"lunch time"?!?
"dinner time"?!?

or you can throw a time out, whatever works..

Dinner. I'm not too hungry in the middle of the day. I eat the most between 6 and 8 pm.

I usually don't start eating until I've been awake for at least 2-3 hours. I've never been someone who can eat right after waking up.

Dinner is, and always has been, my biggest meal.

Same here. I'm also someone who can't eat a ton of food first thing.

Normally dinner. (tea) although it used to be around 800 cals now usually 4-500 so u can snack more through out the day. I still have a good portion but fill up on lots of greens! X

I probably eat 1300-1500 calories every day between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. The remained 800-1100 calories typically come pretty evenly split between breakfast and lunch.

During the week I would have to say dinner. Weekends it is lunch. Never been much of a breakfast eater. I get up at 10:30 am and have a yogurt smoothie at about 12:15 then off to work.

Dinner, most definitely. I usually eat lunch on the run, so I only pack small sandwiches or things that are easy to eat which generally make them of less substance and lower calorie.

I have to get my carbs in by 3pm so morning till noon.
  • Honestly, I think I balance out my calories throughout the day. On weekends, I think probably lunch or dinner, only because we usually go out for a meal :)

Definitely dinner time and on. I frequently skip breakfast, but if I have it, it is small, and lunch is usually around 400 cals. I am really happy if I have at at least 1000 cals for supper and late night snacks!

I've always been a breakfast person, if I don't eat breakfast I just feel awful for the rest of the day!

Most of my calories go towards breakfast and dinner, I'm not too hungry in the middle of the day so I'll eat mostly small snacks every couple of hours.

My problem is eating at night watching TV. The late night snacks kill me. I need to get some discipline with that bad habit.

Well, I eat the most between midnight and 4 am. I work nights from 6:30 pm to 7 am. I wake up around four and eat "breakfast" before I go to work. I snack until 2 or so when I eat "lunch." My "dinner" is around 8 am. I snack again before bed which is around 10 or 11 am.

I guess at work? I work graveyard. 11pm-7am. After I get off work I get busy with errands, gym, shopping groceries that I some times have little time to eat again especially since I want to get things done before going to bed around 2-3pm. Sleep is my #1 priority. I found when I lacked sleep, I'd be tired at work the whole night, plus I'd go over my calories since I'd be constantly grazing on food to help keep me awake.

I am NOT a morning person, so a big breakfast is typically out (for me.) I find myself eating the most calories (when I am at home, at night, 6-8 pm) when I am out, then around lunch time (12-2 pm) It really all depends on if I am cooking, or if someone else is doing the honors!

Days off, I tend to eat fairly balanced throughout the day. Work days, I tend to have an insane number of calories left for dinner - sometimes upwards of 1500 because I tend not to take a lunch break (if I'm hungry I will, but usually don't get hungry at work)

I typically eat more during the day. I work days and it really sucks to feel tired so I kind of graze all day. It keeps my energy up and keeps me from feeling starved so I don't eat everything in sight when I get home.
