I could be very wrong but can't you just go for ... being healthy and fit rather than labeling yourself with such names?

I could go for "being healthy and fit" rather than labeling myself with such names...but I choose not to; how many people on here say, "I want a body like (fill in the blank)? What's the difference? Just because I am setting a goal to look "insanely hot", the healthy and fit part goes without saying.

While I absolutely encourage getting healthy and fit and doing what feels right for you, at the same time, I believe that "sexy" is all in the attitude, and you seem to have plenty of it already! Don't wait! Might as well get out there are start enjoying your journey now! ;-)

    Thank you.

I'd definitely go for MILF...I'm happily married but have been told I'm a MILF and I'm quite proud of that (who just wants to be fit and healthy....that's boring!!!).

My hubby also has a GILF at our kids school (grandmother, lol!)

A bit of harmless banter and eyecandy never hurt anyone, and I agree with one of the other posters, don't wait til you think you're there...you're gorgeous, go grab it now. Life is for living not watching :drinker:

Wow, I never even thought of gilf...I guess I need to change my goal...I have three grand babies (one just turned two today). I am now officially setting my goal to ( insert trumpet fanfare here) GILF!!!

I'm of two minds. Why use a label that was intended to render women as objects by/and for the porn industry? The general use of MILF comes from that. There is a derogatory root to this term.
If you are taking possession and really "owning" the sexuality behind this slang that seems fantastic. But I'd be reserved about it, after all, it is literally and initially intended qualification from the view of a (young) man; "mother I'd like ...". I'd some how think that "insanely hot" is less ... derogatory.
Plus think of the logistics - one can be MILF material - but being a MILF literally means a lot of self-pleasure (nttawwt!).
Pedantics aside, I often wince when I hear terms like "b!tch", "slut" used for self description (outside the bedroom) and don't see this as THAT much different. My litmus test might be what I would accept at my dinner table.
On the other hand, use what you want, burn down social mores on the bonfires of coarse and common language. It's a living thing and I need a coffee.

    Edit: stupid autocorrect.

Hey if it motivates you, then kudos and have a go at it! I just thought it was weird since being a MILF or a cougar is not really about body type or body frame but just... idk what the hell its about to be honest.

But like I said, good luck and hope you have lots of success :)

You're a grandmother?? You certainly don't look it! You are well on your way to GILFhood!

Ok, so 'cougars' seek (are predatory, effectively pay for sex, are corrupt) and 'milfs' are desired (prey, are essentially feminine [mothers], passive). And cougars are the nasty classless ones. Got it.

Because someone happens to date someone younger, they are less classy? Gotta love that logic

    I'm 29. Me dating a 23 years old makes me classless :(

I think the gist is, they're vulgar because they (apparently) act like dudes, which only dudes should do.

    You're a grandmother? WOW you're gorgeous.

Go for the GILF or Cougar title.. it's your life.. if you want a hot 36 year old man go for it! I've been called a MILF loads but there's no benefit from that.. Cougars look like they have more fun and are older women who have lived... got to the point where they don't care what other people think and get out there and go for what they want.. we can all sit and judge but they don't care .. and why should they?

:) Life is for living.. be happy! :)

No. They're both silly labels used by men to tag (relatively) older women who dare to project any kind of sexual identity.

Okay, definitely going for milf...I don't think I could date someone ten (or more...yikes!) years younger than me.:noway:

I could be very wrong but can't you just go for ... being healthy and fit rather than labeling yourself with such names?

I would assume that since she is asking this question then labeling herself one or the other would make her feel better. Considering it is what she wants to for herself, who are you to judge? If she wants to be a MILF in order to make herself happy and motivate herself then so be it!
