When Dogs poop!

This is a major problem. Like, huge and stuff. Dog poop stains grass and if it comes in contact with human skin we will all contract dogism. Mr. Cape already has dogism. We are all next.
Please. For the love of all that's good and decent, pick up after your dog. Don't spread dogism.
Ruff! I mean... ... DAMMIT!
I contracted a case of dogism a few months ago, it was not pretty!0 -
It drives me insane when people don't scoop the poop. I have 2 critters, I can manage to scoop their poop, why the friggidy feck can't you?????? Rhetorical you obvs.
In the UK it is very, very rare to see stray dogs milling around anymore, strays normally get picked up pretty damn quick. So that means for every poo that I have to negotiate on my daily walks there has been a person there with their dog when it creped all over the pavement. And that person decided that nope, not picking that up. :mad:0 -
Wow, remind me never to walk my dogs in these neighborhoods! People not cleaning up poop, something I completely understand being upset about. I would never leave my dog's poop, I ALWAYS clean it up.
But all this fuss over pee? Really? Its not like they are trained to go in a toilet. Also, they are animals, they certainly arent thinking "gee that guy is gardening over there, Im going to go pee right by him just to be offensive". They are animals, that go when they need to go.
To be offended is just a ridiculous waste of energy. The owner cannot control the dog's bladder. I mean, really come on people, there has be a better use of your energy than getting upset over a little dog pee.
In a perfect world, yeah, I'd never have my dog pee on anything other than my own yard, but thats just not realistic. What would you have us do, carry around a roll of paper towels and blot your lawn dry?
Good lord.0 -
I always pick up my adopted sons poop!!!0

But then you are doing their work for them.
I put it in their bare hand.0 -
Dog pee, I don't care about, but dog poop needs to be disposed of. It pollutes our oceans (true story) and is disgusting and unsanitary.
Who's picking up bear poop? And wolf poop? And badger poop?0 -

You as a dog owner still have control of where the dog pees though ...
Pee causes a lot more damage than poop does... It is highly acidic and will put yellow and brown spots all over peoples lawns. As a responsible dog owner you should make every attempt to walk the dog in a public area so that they can on a public greenery or mulch or something that isnt someones hard earned grass0 -
Why are you so offended by the trainer?0

Cow poop? Pigeon poop? What about ancient dino poop?0 -
I own three dogs now. We now have a house so they go in the backyard. When they go I pick it up right away. When we used to take one of the dogs on walks we always had more than enough bags for him in case he did go. I also always walked him on the patch of grass between the sidewalk and the street and discouraged him from walking on people's lawns.
I would have an issue if someone didn't pick up the poop when their dog went on my lawn. Peeing though... what's the big issue? Rinse it off with water if it bugs you that much. Why stress over pee on the lawn?0 -
I hate dogs...
***escorting you out of the thread***

But how is that dog poo is so awful for the environment (I get the aesthetics and all that part of picking it up), but all the wild animals' poo isn't? Someone explain, please?
As far as where dogs pee and having control over that? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!0 -

Why are you so offended by the trainer?
Because the trainer and dog were making the OP's dog go nuts and she had to listen to it.0
