Can I wear gloves to lift if I promise not to do cardio?

    yes. and dont feel bad. no one should be that focused on what kind of fabrics you are wearing on what part of your body unless you show up in a lavendar tutu and fairy wings and dont have a story to go with it. Cool?

    You shouldn't get callouses from lifting weights properly. You get callouses from throwing weights around like a wannabe jock. My skin is hard underneath but smooth on top.

    You shouldn't wear gloves for vanity reasons. I have just started to wear them because my weights are the right size for my muscles but the wrong size for my wrists so I need the support from the wrist straps. I don't don't want to get tendonitus and not be able to workout at all.

    I wear gloves when I lift and I run 50 miles a week - go figure.
