Its not a problem in my house.... I never ask him to do something if he is relaxing... Basically if there is something that needs his attention he is already on it... or I will gently remind him in the morning and it is taken care of when he has time to do it... And I am always willing if he wants me to help him with something... Give and take..

Ironically enough, I do a lot around the house.

I do the laundry, rinse dishes/load dishwasher, make the bed, vacuum the floors, and occasionally clean the shower/toilets. That's in addition to the outside work like raking, taking out the garbage, and shoveling snow (if applicable).

However, that never stops her from asking me to do something once I'm situated on the couch watching UNC or Knicks basketball, Giants/Jets football, or Mets baseball.

I usually preface requests with "next time you're up" but usually I just get up and get whatever.

Not that often. But she does seem to think that just as I am drifting off to sleep is the perfect opportunity to discuss an issue, instead of when we were both wide awake. :grumble:

but that's the way we get you to agree!
