    I'm doing 3 sets of 15 - "guy style". I could probably get to 20 reps, but I'm still rehabbing shoulder tendinitis and I don't want to push it.

    Probably about 7 or 8.
    My arms are pretty weak. My legs are a power house though.

    its not actually arms that needs to be strong to do push ups:D

    Never tried but I can do one hand push ups for 15 at my bulking weight lol

    I typically do four sets of forty to fifty before breakfast.

    A beginner in anything strength - I am currently doing pyramid sets of push-ups; last night was 7, 8, 9, 8, 7 so next session I will start with 8 and aim for a peak set of 10 and so on.

    My core is fine, it's my triceps that give out. I do concentrate on slowing the reps down so I am carrying the weight, not cranking them out fast, which I find I just can't do.

    I was up to around 47 good form pushups per set (I did 3 sets) before getting pregnant.
    A couple weeks ago, I could still do 20, but I was very sore through my lower abdomen afterwards. No more pushups for me til after baby.

    52 standard push ups is my max thanks to insanity. i would like to get to 75 one day.

    25 straight is my PR for now.. hoping to up that, though :) I also want to start doing more diamond push-ups; I'm really bad at them right now and can only do a couple in a row.

    Editing to clarify that I mean regular push-ups.. if we're talking modified push-ups, I could do many more of those.

    Couldn't do anything but "girl push-ups" on my knees a year ago. Just tried plank push-ups a few weeks ago and was shocked that I could do 5 with good form. I'm now up to 3 sets of 10, but it is TOUGH! [pats self on back for reaching a fitness goal]

    I can only do wall push-ups, but someday I'll do real ones. I try to do 25-50 every other day.
    I do wall push ups too. I try to do 15- 25. Some people don't count these as real push ups, but when you have an injury it is better for you.

    26 and they are girly ones. My wrists and elbows are not strong enough to do more than that at one time before they really start to ache. Old age I guess. :sad:

    Also I think 'guy style' is an actual pushup whereas 'girl style' is on your knees? I'm not sure.
    In taekwondo guy pushups are on knuckles whereas girly push ups are just normal push ups haha.

    hahahah funny you should ask. My bf's friend challenged me to do 20 guy push-ups I did 30! hahahaha He said I didn't go all the way down, but WHATEVER He just wasn't ready for the gun show!!!!!

    After that it starts to really hurt my left collarbone (not sure why, it's never been broken)

    I can do 20 full, good form pushups when I'm fresh at the beginning of a chest workout. At the end is another story, lol!

    At once I'd say about 40 (on toes) maybe more... if split, I've done 80 on my toes and 40 on my knees and was pretty pooped. Mind you, I also did 300 squats and 100 assited pull ups :/
