I'm doing 3 sets of 15 - "guy style". I could probably get to 20 reps, but I'm still rehabbing shoulder tendinitis and I don't want to push it.

Probably about 7 or 8.
My arms are pretty weak. My legs are a power house though.
its not actually arms that needs to be strong to do push ups:D0 -

I typically do four sets of forty to fifty before breakfast.

A beginner in anything strength - I am currently doing pyramid sets of push-ups; last night was 7, 8, 9, 8, 7 so next session I will start with 8 and aim for a peak set of 10 and so on.
My core is fine, it's my triceps that give out. I do concentrate on slowing the reps down so I am carrying the weight, not cranking them out fast, which I find I just can't do.0 -
I was up to around 47 good form pushups per set (I did 3 sets) before getting pregnant.
A couple weeks ago, I could still do 20, but I was very sore through my lower abdomen afterwards. No more pushups for me til after baby.0 -
70 in one minute.0

I also want to start doing more diamond push-ups; I'm really bad at them right now and can only do a couple in a row.
Editing to clarify that I mean regular push-ups.. if we're talking modified push-ups, I could do many more of those.0 -

Couldn't do anything but "girl push-ups" on my knees a year ago. Just tried plank push-ups a few weeks ago and was shocked that I could do 5 with good form. I'm now up to 3 sets of 10, but it is TOUGH! [pats self on back for reaching a fitness goal]0
