iPhone vs Galaxy III

Galaxy, here...you should also check the coverage. We have better coverage where I live than the IPhone peeps. When my brother and I talk on the phone (me, galaxy and him Iphone) his coverage drops him quite often. He's even commented that it's very annoying that he drops calls all the time. On the other hand, the only calls I've lost are his (from his end of the line). My screen is also bigger than his if that makes any difference.0

My Galaxy SIII is the first smartphone that I have ever owned. I went from a phone-with-actual-buttons-that-makes-calls-and-sends-texts-and-that's-it to this and ohhhh gosh, I love my Galaxy. My roommate has an iPhone. I used to play with it a lot before I had my phone and I still play with it sometimes but it's weird and it's sooo tiny -- I've started calling it "Little Nugget" because that's what it feels like now. The entire phone is the same size as my phone's screen. But yeah, I'm a Galaxy fan.
(Plus, my roommate is obsessed with Apple, and I will do anything to never own an Apple product so I can keep saying that I hate Apple just to spite her I don't really hate it or have any opinion at all on it, but it's fun to say that I do to a diehard Apple fan.)0 -
My wife has S3 and it's an awesome phone, I just got a HTC DNA - and love it! Go with DNA!0

I spent ages trying to decide which to choose from, I read so many reviews, spoke to friends who had the 5 or the S3.....after a lot of thought I went for the..........S3........................IT IS FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

I had the iphone 3 gs. Then I switched to a different provider, credomobile, and they do not carry the iphone. So i started off with a simple phone and last month I got a samsung galaxy 2, and I love it! I like it much more than the iphone I had. Granted that was a few models ago, but from what I remember of the iphone I like the galaxy more. And i'm not someone who is only for apple products or totally against them. I have a two apple computers and I prefer them over pc's. But as for cell phones, I really like the android specifically the galaxy 2 more.0

I just got the iPhone 4 back in June and I love it. I have no feelings one way or the other towards Apple products. I have the first generation iPad and I absolutely love it and the iPhone is like an extension of it except I can make phone calls. If I were to get a laptop I'd get a Mac because windows is horrible. Also I got the iPhone because I develop mobile apps and at the time Apple was the only platform I was able to develop for.0

I love, love, love my Galaxy 3S!!!!0

S3 all the way. I went from a blackberry to this and love it. Yes, it's a little big, but reception is so much better than the iPhone. My tech-geek husband has the iPhone through work and he has phone envy. Tells everyone we meet how much better the S3 is. Get one now.0

I, too, have the S3 and LOVE IT!! But I am tired of all the stuff made for IPhones and the S3 being dissed like most other Androids. Wake up, accessory manufacturers. This phone deserves to be supported!0

I have heard from more friends, family, and "tech" folks that they LOVE their S3. If tech peeps at Walmart, Radio Shack, Target, Best Buy AND Verizon all think the S3 is superior, it probably is.
My sister's is RIDICULOUSLY awesome. When it's time for an upgrade, here I come.0 -
My bff works in tech support for Verizon. She would not buy or recommend the iPhone to her worst enemy.
I love my Galaxy S3.0 -
Buying an apple is an admission you know nothing about technology, and technical terms such as 'cut' or 'paste' make your little head spin.0

I'm one of the few that have never had an iphone.. but I just recently got the Galaxy 3S and have had it for about a month and love it!! I have heard many people prefer it over the iphone... but am unsure why as I have no experience with the iphones.0

Between the two, I would definitely take the Galaxy. I wanted it, but it seemed too big for my hands, so I got the RAZR M. I love it too.
I would also say instead of buying the phone at Verizon, go to Walmart to the Verizon kiosk and buy it there - it is cheaper by about $50 and they will call and add it to your Verizon account and have it working when you leave the store. Plus, if you do not like it, you can take it back within 15 days without the stocking fee that Verizon will charge you to return it.0 -
I had a Droid X and didn't want to lose my apps I had paid for, so I went with the S III. I couldn't be happier. It's fast, easy to use, and packed with lots of cool options. AND, I could use my SD card from my Droid X to expand the memory. iPhone doesn't give you that option.0

What is everyones thoughts on the new Nokia Lumia 920?
I was looking at this for January, between that and the HTC 8X... I've had 2 HTC Windows phones in a row and they are bulletproof. Almost literally. I dropped my HD7 in the middle of a busy street and it still worked just fine without even a ding. That was almost a year ago! I reboot the phone maybe once every six weeks. So a couple of weeks ago, I went to the AT&T store and played with both the Nokia and the HTC Windows phones. Both are great phones and the Nokia has some aspects in the Maps & camera apps that the HTC doesn't. But the Nokia is about twice the thickness and feels like it's a Lego. It's also pretty heavy. The HTC seems a little bit faster to me, but maybe I'm familiar with it. All in all, they are very similar phones, it's just up to you to on the look and feel you want. Business-wise, I really thing HTC is going to outlast Nokia as well, if only because they have the entire Android line as well (and a large market of high-tech goodies).
As for Windows phones in general - I'm in high-end technology. I need it to do business and work stuff most of the time. Sure, I still play games & music on it, but it's gotta be a workhorse. I'm also security-minded, and Microsoft has made it so easy to disable all of the tracking and GPS functions. Meh.. there's a bunch of other reasons I stick with Windows Phone, and the only reason I don't have an 8 phone yet is because the timing just has been awful.0 -
Samsung is the only way to go. They call the iphone the simple mans smart phone0
