    I try to avoid riding because of a herniated neck disk and run more often to catch up instead. .. Well, even if I run 3-4 miles everyday I'll still need a 20-mile ride to reach my target. :grumble:

    Thu, 12/13: 4.5 miles

    Milestone for me! I completed 4.5 miles in one hour. I walked/ran/sprinted/walked, etc., so I didn't maintain a 4.5 pace, but this is the first time I have averaged 4.5 mph (13 min mile) for a whole hour. Yay, me! Next goal will take a while but I would like to complete 5.0 miles in an hour. I know this is not very fast for runners, but it is huge for me. :drinker:

    Well done. On the bright side you are very fast for non-runners :drinker:

    The winter temps & snow have arrived in NH . . . Spin Class, Running (Treadmill) or Swimming for the next few months.

    Dec. 1st: Ran a 5k (3.1 miles) - Santa Claus Shuffle

    Total so far = 101.1 miles (*Goal for December = 120 miles)


    **Not sure how to track these, but I was definitely moving my *kitten* :-)
    - Skiing on 12/08 for about 2 hours and burned approx 925 calories (*per HRM)
    - Skiing on 12/12 for about 4 hours and burned approx 2,000 calories (*per HRM)

    ohhhhh nooooooo, i fell out of the lime......help meeeeeeeee......
    today was a work lunch and therefore i had to take a "true" rest day....
    lunch walk tomorrow and then elliptical at the ymca tomorrow night should throw up 7+miles to be added to my total....
    i DO NOT LIKE BEING OUT OF THE LIME....

    Dinos I am glad you are just busy & are not ill (or dead:wink: )! I would think the running would jar the neck injury more than riding bike! Surgery may be your next option!:grumble:

    Got in 10 miles on the bike at 4:30 a.m. again! It is becoming a habit!:wink:
