Looking for dedicated members to join short challenges

Hey, guys! My name is Marie, and after losing 63 pounds this year, I am just 16 pounds away from my goal weight (to get in the healthy range for my height) and 29 from my ultimate goal. After 11 months of focus, I lost myself a little in November and gained 3.5 lbs. I started a challenge within my friends list this week: skipping the scale till Sunday. It was great, supportive, and helped me stop going crazy every day when the number didn't change. I weighed in today and lost 2.5 of the 3.5 I had gained. It was a wonderful challenge, but I only got a few bites on my friends list. Was wondering if there was anybody else who would be interested in some short-term challenges this month and perhaps beyond? Being so close to my goal, I like short term challenges to help me get there. The little picture is easier for me to see than the big one! This week: no fast food for 5 days, even the "healthy kind." i tend to rely on some form of fast food a few times a week. We can check in Friday and then agree on another 5-day challenge among suggestions from the group. Feel free to share your successes and failures throughout the week.

    Im in ... But this weeks challenge is gonna be tough for me. I'm proud if I make one day without fast food, let alone 5!!!! But I will try!

    I love the short term challenge idea. Please friend me so I can be part of more after this. I shouldn't have too much trouble with this one. We live 20 miles from the nearest fast food place and I rarely go out but with Christmas shopping I will be out more.

    I've been telling myself I'd start packing my own lunch for a week for months! I just discovered the slow-cooker, so this might be a possibility.

    Leveled off recently, in middle of Insanity and will finish in beginning of January, I looking to find people who will commit to losing weight in December instead of making the big promise that that's what they're going to do when the new year hits. I plan on trying to lose about 6 lbs this month.

    Did okay! Was planning on going home for lunch, but it was such a crazy day at the office that I literally had 10 minutes to grab something. Luckily there's a Kroger RIGHT behind my office building - so I popped in and grabbed some soup and some apple slices/caramel, got back to the office and heated it up later while I snacked on my selections. Then found a recipe online I wanted to try and stopped back in Kroger post-work to grab ingredients. Came home to cook dinner and use my wok. Pretty stoked - first time I've cooked in awhile and first time I used my wok (although I did burn the @$#%@ out of my fingers checking the temperature - stupid me). :o)
