girls, how big are your calves

My goal is to gain 15 lbs of muscle because I feel I'm too thin for my height. 6'2" 125 lbs. My legs are really small 12" calves and 17.5" thighs. To me that seems small but I would like to hear what others are.

I'm not sure of my measurements, but I do know that I can never buy cute boots

Stupid calves don't fit in them.

My calves are also too big for most boots. I've never measured them. I don't need to. They've been big for as long as I can remember.

    I get depressed when I see adorable boots on sale...cause 9 out of 10 times I can't zip'em up!

  • 17.5 inches. So the same size as your thighs, but my trainer tells me theres a lot of muscle hiding under my fat.....
  • My calves are about 17 inches, but I have big feet too. Footsmart.com has boots for larger calved women. I have always had big legs.

13.5 inches, and they look huge to me from the side. My thighs are 19 inches.
You do seem to be rather underweight for someone so tall, I am 5'10 and look pretty emaciated when I am 125/126 Ibs.
But then, that is not my natural weight, and I am assuming you are just built this way naturally.

Mine are pretty darn big compared to the rest of my legs, but for all those who say "too big for boots" - they have a lot more boots now than they used to. I've seen some that say 18" or 19" . And some are even cute :)

Check zappos and search for wide calf boot. Just be sure to measure up where the boot goes to check circumference.

here's another place with a lot of wide calf boots.

I've never been the biggest fan of my calves, but now that my goal is weight loss/muscle gain, I'm pretty darn happy I'm inclined to muscular calves!

I once had an older man (it...was actually a bit creepy) tell me to keep on swimming because of my gorgeous legs. I didn't bother to tell him I could probably drown in 2 ft of water.
  • I just measured my calves and got 12.5'', which surprised me since they are bigger now than they used to be due to gaining more muscle there from running - and I am also a few inches lower in height at around 5'4'' and at your current weight in between 120--125 pounds. I'm not sure if that helps you much, but good luck reaching your muscle gain goal! :)

I have 13" calves and 21" thighs....my thighs I could do without, but I like my calves!
  • Just measured mine are 16 and a half....but they have always been super muscular with no effort really....my thighs are 24ish...always has thick thighs... im very hourglass and thick in certain areas... if u feel that ur calves and thighs are too slim just build them up with muscle...all that matters is how u feel when u look in the mirror.

mine are big, not sure what size they are but they have been the same size since 9th grade, and that was in 1996, so they are not fat. My thighs on the other hand are huge.

12.5 inches at the widest point. I've always been very lucky to have very slim calves -- they're all bone and muscle, with negligible fat.

16 inches. I'm 6ft tall. They are solid muscle, no fat! I actually really like my legs, but reading the measurements of tinier girls here is giving me a complex...

I'm 5'1 with 14.5 inch calves and 21 inch thighs. Needless to say, boot buying is a trial. Also I think my calves look too bulgy on me since my ankles are 7.5 inches and there's not much height to my legs. I doubt they'll ever slim down since mine are genetic and full of muscle:indifferent:
