How's about we spin this to a POSI thread? Pointing out flaws is too negative. No one judges us harder than we judge ourselves so why seek validation from others?

What's one thing you LOVE about yourself? Looks or otherwise!

I love my shoulders. I worked hard for them!
    I love my lips.
I love having straight and shiny hair. (I go back and forth on liking the color)

    Good idea

I love how I look when I eat

    NOW VALIDATE ME!

    Now I want a sammich!!

    Here's a better example.
It's like my lip is trying to crawl up my face

Haha, my husband has that same upper lip when he smiles, and he gave it to our son, too. I personally think it's adorable! Makes me think of my two favorite boys in the everwide world!

Glad to know I'm not the only one out there with wonky lips! Thankfully I did NOT give mine to my son! But it sounds like your hubby's is cute at least!

You definitely do not have chubby cheeks when you smile!

I lose my upper lip when I smile, it drives me crazy. I have to do a fake smile in pictures so it looks like I have both my lips :)

The thing I hate most about myself is that I'm starved for attention

^^this. Well, that and my chronic incurable serious illness. :grumble:

I don't like my smile either, especially when I smile big with my teeth showing. My cheeks are all chubby! I've been told I have chipmunk cheeks . :(

When i lost weight in the past it didn't even help much..

I also hate my nose! I know I've had people ask me if I had surgery (nose job) and I say no cuz it's the real thing. I think it's too big and pointy.

This thread makes me a bit sad. A smile is a natural expression of hapiness and joy, and a natural response when someone makes us feel good through compliments or through a joke. To all you lovely young ladies who try and mute this, who try and make sure you don't smile too wide because you think you have chipmunk cheeks, all I have to say is, if you are with someone who makes you smile, and who makes you feel good about life, or that moment, why the HELL are you worried about it? Why aren't you just enjoying yourself?

If you are on a date with an amazing guy, and he makes you want to grin from ear to ear, then DO SO, I guarantee when he sees that smile on your face he isn't going think 'omg this idiot has chipmunk cheeks, I'm out', he's going to think, wow, she's really enjoying being with me.

For the love of all that is holy, don't try and put a mute button on your responses to life just to try and look more attractive. That's just a path to misery.

Something that I can't change eh? Well I don't HATE my teeth per-se but they're a pain in the *kitten* to brush since they're so wonked up, and there isn't any room in my mouth to change that. They would have to be taken out and then I'd be short two, so nah.

AH. I cannot stand how my skin is so sensitive to shaving, and my metal allergy. Only surgical steel can go into my ears, and even then my left one still rejects it sometimes-not to mention it's a hassle and a half to find. Only gold and silver can go on my fingers.

TMI: And I can maybe shave my underarms once a week with shaving foam if I want to avoid a rash under there. If I try it every shower I'm hissing and cursing cus that **** stingssss and I don't care enough about the beauty standards I live with to bother with that. Maybe I should move to England.
