    I have pictures of myself on facebook shooting targets with the family during get-togethers. However, I'm thinking that you just want to instigate some grade-A **** considering you're posting this right here, right now without any explanation.

    Also, the way you hold that gun tells me that you don't know much about them. I'm all for safe, legal ownership of guns, but the last thing I want to see is uneducated people flashing pictures of guns like some sort of status symbol.

    Agree even if I am not from NJ;

    Displaying this picture when Connecticut and the country are in mourning after the loss of some many people, including 20 children, due to gun violence, it is plain insensitive, heartless and cold.

    I find pictures like this pathetic! you Americans and your guns, you all over the news this week, for the wrong reasons, if I were you I would take this down, nothing to show off about. Its a fitness site not some hunter find and kill site.
    I find sweeping generalizations about Americans pathetic. Don't lump all of us together.

    oh come on guys... seriously? i highly doubt her intention was to stir up drama over this CT shooting. why is it a bad idea to post a picture of herself (a responsible adult) at a gun range just because of the shooting? i think some of you are being a little too extreme.

    my heart goes out to all of the children and their families, but if people cant post pictures of themselves at gun ranges anymore because of this i think that is a little ridiculous

    While an odd place for the type of picture, I am not sure why so many people are so upset at the very sight of a person with a gun. We give so many people so much control over our own lives and feelings.

    and glamorizing guns is what causes crazy people to hurt others? The entire blame of EVERY incident that happens in the WORLD lies directly with the individual committing the atrocity. Come on put the blame where it belongs!

    I'm less upset by the posting of a picture than I am by how she holds it.

    I'm not a fan of owning guns, the fact my own father was killed with one means I personally find this picture disgraceful and the fact you actually posted it on an online forum even worse.
    Nothing against learning how to shoot but this is a little distasteful. Time and place beau, this isn't it.

    @stines - Seriously? It is is a photo of her holding a gun without any explanation. There is no relevance to the "success stories." Your heart may go out to those who were killed in CT but that rings hollow when you are making excuses for a person to display such insensitivity at this point in time. Any other time no one would care but this shows a complete lack of judgement. This is what people are upset about.
