We have never exchanged gifts at christmas, we prefer to take the money we might have spent and take a trip somewhere special to spend new years eve, just the two of us :)

We already exchanged presents as he went away today and I won't see him again till after Christmas, I got him a new Xbox controller (to replace one that had broken so he has two again now (and him and his housemate can do multiplayer stuff again)) and a marble pestle and mortar. They were both very much appreciated thankfully :)

He got a Wheel of Death filled with the liquors to make The Three Wise Men shot. (Jim, Johnnie & Jack).
I gave it to him early because I wanted to start drinking that *kitten*! .....I mean because I wanted to see his cute lil face light up with happiness!

My husband was just diagnosed with both osteopenia and Barrett's esophagus - and his is only 36! Needless to say he is on the workout wagon (for the first time in his life!). I bought him a BowFlex home gym for Christmas to help get him started. I'm really hoping he can stick with it!

I got him a iPad 4 and a iPhone 5. Mainly because he dealt with the crappy Sidekick 4g and T-Mobile for so long. Enough was enough. I also got them early because we will be more distracted by giving our gifts out to 12 people and will have presents to open with everyone. We had a mini-Christmas with ourselves with no gift wrapping involved. Especially since we have THREE to attend officially!

My hubby wanted clothes... I got him a few nice, cozy shirts from Bass Pro Shop, a new pair of casual/dress shoes, some stocking stuffer gifts and A gel memory foam topper for our bed that I know he's wanted forever. I'm also cooking him a feast and some of his favorite desserts, which he's already told me is the best gift ever. :)

I have a lot more money than I'm used to this time of year, so I am spoiling him a bit this year =] I'm getting him a beat maschine and some wireless beats headphones. He loves music. It doesn't look like that much, but both of those are pretty pricey so it'll just have to be the two things.

My husband has been out of the service for awhile. He now works as a civilian on base. He has always wanted his service awards to be mounted. This year I got his ribbons, etc. put on a set if dress blues and the right side of the uniform fills the shadow box.

A very nice picnic basket with wine service for two...along with the promise to fill it with a bottle of wine and yummy food, get a babysitter, and take it to a pretty, secluded spot soon. He's been mentioning forever that he would like something like that.

And he's getting me a pair of sai (traditional Okinawan weapons.)

It cracks me up how non-stereotypical we are.

We usually buy something for both of us to enjoy. 2yrs ago, we bought tickets to see Dave Matthews at the Gorge in George, WA over Labor Day(it's a 7hr drive from our home, but NO kids!!). Last year we bought a Canon camera with the lens and a video camera since we never had one while the older 2 were little. This year, he bought me a 9mm beretta. He's gone alot and wants me protected. I guess it's for both of us, but he fully picked it out with me in mind.lol.

We are also going to surprise the kids with a trip to Disneyland next year in Sept!! Can't wait to see their faces when we FINALLY get to tell them!

He told not to get him anything; he told me just be a good wife and that would be his present ( I was kind of insulted, as I wasn't sure how to take that, but I got over it) ...So I bought him some very nice cologne (he asked for some a few months ago,) and a new electric razor set....He's been using the same one for over 10 years now....

    I went the practical route.

    *Edited to make sense.
