Egg brands that are low in fat?

Just wondering if anyone knew of egg brands that aren't so fatty...I have Egg Land's Best but there's just so much fat in them when you start to have more than one :/

well I discovered with some surprise (shouldn't have been really) that duck eggs were much higher in calories (nearly double) than chicken's eggs.

A 'brand' is just the distributer. companies don't MAKE eggs and can't make 'low-fat' versions. An egg is a food source for a baby chick. It will have the nutrients that that chick needs. any messing with those nutrients and, well it's not really an egg any more.

Maybe quails eggs may be lesser in fat.
  • LOL WHAT?
  • Chuck the yolk and just eat the whites?

I'm confused...in the UK eggs come from chickens. Period. Is there somewhere in the world that can manipulate eggs to contain less fat? Weird..
Fat is not the enemy, especially fat from eggs. If you want to consume less fat, use one whole egg and a few egg whites.

I have started to buy egg whites.. I find they are much more tastier as an omelet as opposed to the full egg.

I think there is an unexamined notion that all food is created in some factory somewhere. But really, an egg is 70-80 calories. All te nutrition is in the yolk. I eat several a week.

You need to get some skinny chickens for that....they lay the low fat eggs....Pre-cooked too!

Not all the protien is in the yolk, everything else yes, but not all the nutrition. And eggs are made in a factory. Have you not seen a chicken farm. lol : )

Small eggs generally have less fat than the extra large ones.

    Hope that helps.
