Been on kind of an oat rage since I got myself a new bag. So far, no reaction, which speaks good things for me. The brand I'm getting appears to be a lot safer than the one I had last year, which gave me a hell of a lot of problems. Lately I've been experimenting with various flavours:

    Peanut butter and banana proats
    9l34xYW.jpg
100g oats, 1 scoop whey, handful of raisins, diced banana and a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter.

    "Snickers" proats
    JqU7G8H.jpg
100g oats, 1 scoop whey, 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, two teaspoons brown sugar, heaping tablespoon of peanut butter and diced banana.

    Almond vanilla proats
    RAc2iwf.jpg
These were meh, Guess I'm not that big a fan of almond butter.

    Coconut berry proats
    qSuPFjw.jpg
Probably my favourite to date. Coconut butter, coconut flakes, 2/3 cup of blueberries mixed in with the usual whey/oats.

    And some other things.

    Buttered sirloin, rice and salad
    akQYYAj.jpg

    Homemade burgers and fries
    fuPw1o9.jpg

    Sugar, Salt & Cinnamon Bananas

    Salmon, rice and pumpkin

Well, as I live in a dorm room with no access to a stove, I'm very limited. I DID, however, just make a lovely hot cocoa with a square of 85% cocoa dark chocolate and organic rice milk. Altogether 11 g of sugar (which is what I'm worried about atm) and a good amount of calories, but you won't want any more chocolate after it! Haha. 10 g of the sugar came from the rice milk (the original flavor, not with vanilla or anything). And I snack throughout the day, usually just string cheese or halos (sometimes trail mix. I buy in bulk and separate it into 1/4 c baggies). When it comes to meals, I rely on what my university has. Breakfast is usually two boiled eggs with whatever horridly salty variation of potatoes (and if there is polish sausage or bacon, I can't say no to it). If there is tuna salad anywhere, I will grab that for lunch (it's really good on a bed of bay spinach with sunflower seeds). Dinner is pretty much whatever is at the dining hall. It's never ridiculously greasy, and I exercise a good bit.

We went to the Melting Pot on Saturday!

    r22ooo.jpg
    First course: mmmm cheese!

    2qwm06g.jpg
    Drinks!

I forgot to take a picture of the salads for the second course! My husband had caeser salad, and I had the california.

    2rrxiq0.jpg
Veggie broth for the third course!

    im010m.jpg
My third course was seasoned Angus sirloin, Memphis-style BBQ pork medallion, Pacific white shrimp, herb-crusted breast of chicken, and teriyaki-marinated sirloin

    144cmk3.jpg
My husband's third course was filet mignon, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, and more seasoned Angus sirloin. We just shared off both plates!

    2yki1w9.jpg
Third course came with potatoes, broccoli and mushrooms as well!

    2a0bwg5.jpg
All the dips for the third course! My favourite with the bleu cheese stuffed in the mushroom caps.

Fourth course: dessert! Best course by FAR
