Air fried drumsticks tossed in Vietnamese "marketing water" (https://www.kcrw.com/culture/shows/good-food/vietnamese-caramel-fish-sauce-2013-my-new-magic-potion).
Mini corns were given the pot ang treatment, re-using the marinade from when I made it for company on the weekend (https://tarasmulticulturaltable.com/pot-ang-cambodian-grilled-corn/).
Saw tooth coriander and mung bean sprouts were dressed in nuoc cham (https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/09/sauced-nuoc-cham-recipe.html)

We had dinner here: https://jonesandsonsdalston.com/dinner1
I started with potato gnocchi browned in truffle oil and my main was rare butcher's steak with bearnaise and undressed watercress.

Smashed jersey royals and roast asparagus. Pan fried sea bass with leftover orange and caper sauce lurking at the back of the fridge. I got so nervous about the timings (smashed potatoes need 20-25 minutes in the oven, roast asparagus 10-12, cooking sea bass about 5-6 minutes) that I forgot to season everything.

Stir fried niang gao sticky rice cakes with chicken and snow peas. This is sort of like a Chinese gnocchi. The Ippudo copycat cucumber salad, this time trying to copy their presentation too.

Reduced sugar to just a pinch, added some chopped cherry tomato, took the garlic off the heat before adding the asian sauces.

There was a little complimentary foccacia to start. I ordered spaghetti with mussels followed by the pork.

I love looking at the photos of the food you folks are preparing. I usually have to consult Mr. Google to find out what the unknown to me dishes consist of.1

Grilled radicchio with blue cheese sauce finished under the broiler as a starter. Main of roast chicken thighs, chimchurri sauce, roast asparagus, smashed jersey royals. Everything was actually cooked in the air fryer.

Roast carrot and asparagus on the side. Buccatini stretched with a little spiralized courgette in blue cheese sauce (blue cheese blitzed with cottage cheese) sprinkled with some grated old goat gouda.

Some vegan buns and donuts- very well done, as they taste like the real deal! Confetti cream cheese cinnamon bun and savoury cheese/jalapeno/bacon bun. Cinnamon cookie, lemon cream and chocolate coconut pudding doughnuts. And a non-vegan banana dark chocolate pie.
