Me? Yeah, I guess I've lost a couple of pounds, but who's counting?

Love the lady love fest! My pics are in my profile. The one in the red and white striped shirt is me at 175lbs in May of this year. The pic of me in all black is at 151lbs a few weeks ago. Still have about 6lbs to go. I am 5'8" so 145lb will put me right in the middle of the "healthy" BMI range. After that I will focus more on fitness goals and lowering body fat %.

I used MFP's guidelines to lose 1lb per week, and I ate back half of the calories. I've also had meals/days/entire weekends that were TERRIBLE (but delicious...) but I just got right back on plan. My diary is open but I typically eat 5 or 6 small meals per day. I usually feel gross after a bigger meal and it prevents me from working out so smaller meals works much better for me. It also prevents me from getting too hungry and binging.

I work out 5-6 days per week. I take ballet class twice per week (which I count as a workout), do P90X workouts, and Jillian Michaels DVDs with weights. When it was warmer I was also running outside. I'm not a gym person. I get so much more out of working out at home because I'm not embarrassed about grunting or flinging sweat everywhere, haha,

The holidays are tough for me and I've been at a standstill for the whole month of December, but I pretty much expected that. I didn't set any time limit for myself to reach my goal because in my experience, the body does what it wants even when you're doing everything right! Typically I will maintain for 3 weeks, then all the weight will fall off during the 4th week. No idea why.

I can't do cardio due to knee problems. Here's my results so far..... from Jan 2012 to Nov 2012. Still got about 11lb to go to my first target of 112lb but might take next year to get another 14lb depending on how I look. I am pretty happy with how I have changed tho!

I joined MFP on June 18 and haven't looked back, cut out the junk food, try to eat clean and workout 5-6 days a week. I love mixing up my exercise and do boxing, spinning, running, walking, kettlebells and circuit training. I still have around 40lbs to go, but I am happy with my progress so far.

Reading through these posts give me great inspiration about we can achieve!

Starting weight 217 but I didn't take pics immediately. Here are my progress pics from a month ago. I've lost another 6 pounds since the one on the right but haven't taken pics yet this month. I'm still shocked by the change in my mid-section!
