Xmas Day Workout

I just posted on my wall that my gym is open on Xmas day and that I for one, will be taking full advantage and having a Xmas day burn.

So now I'm opening up that question to all and sundry - How many of you plan to workout on Xmas day (At the gym or otherwise)?

I wish. My gym closes at 1 on Monday... so I can't even get in a Christmas Eve workout without screwing up work. Soooo... I'm going to attempt to go for a walk after work on Monday if it's not snowing yet, and do simple workout in my living room. At least it would be something. Christmas schedule is pretty brutal, but I'm going to try to do the same and just hit it hard on Thursday.
  • I have Christmas on the 24th and 25th, turkey and the fixing two days in a row so I plan to work out on the 24th, all the more reason to add the extra gravy that is soo yummy; and the glass of wine or two!

I plan to eat and play with my new stuff. And then eat some more. So unless I'm getting a treadmill, I don't foresee any working out.

My gym has 24/7 access so after my morning family madness I plan on going, I'm guessing it will be a ghost town and that's my favorite time to go!

    Happy Holidays :)

Definitely yes! That is a running day for me anyway(Tuesday) I will probably have a relaxed/easy run because most people will not be working out (sadly). I also worked out on Thanksgiving(hiking with my cousin). We got a tremendous hike done in the morning, with no regrets of eating what we wanted for Thanksgiving dinner!

I will be spending time with my family. Maybe I will squeeze a walk in but I know I will not make it to the gym.

Christmas is a non event in Turkey, but I'll take advantage of having the day off work, so I'll go to the gym in the morning for a workout. If I was in Australia with family, I wouldn't be going to the gym, just a quick swim in the morning.

My normal Tuesday workout is a dance class, which will not be held, so probably not. I still plan to do my regular runs on Monday (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday, but on Christmas Day itself, my only workout(s) will probably be of the bedroom variety

Not I...would like to, but it'll be a pretty packed day and I don't think I'm going to be able to squeeze it in. Up with the kids to open their presents and then I'll be in the kitchen most of the day getting Christmas Dinner ready for 12. I do 99% of the cooking in my house, holiday or otherwise, so I'll be busy.

I don't do the gym thing - but I will be doing my 2nd last day of the 30DS before we head over to my inlaws. I talked myself through it 100 times, that missing that day is no biggie etc. etc. but, I honestly don't WANT to skip it. It's 20 minutes and really is a guaranteed 20 minutes that I don't have to answer kids' questions/requests, don't have to think about what needs to get done, it is like a meditation moment, and that is definitely needed!

Yep. Insanity in the morning, and maybe the gym at night, if I feel up to it. Either way, I'm doing some type of exercise that day
