  • We did our Christmas yesterday since I have to work tomorrow, so...I'll be working out and treating it like it's just another normal day.

Probably not, just because we're always with family from 7 am to about 10 or 11 at night. Absolutely no time with that much family lurking around haha.

But kudos to those of you who are working out Christmas(:

oh, oh...ME! I'm running 5 miles! I'm training for a half and I'm not missing a single day of my training for AN-EE-THING!

EDIT: My family and my husband's family all live too far away...we don't usually get to spend holidays with them....our son is overseas; so we won't get to see him either...it's just him, me and the cat.

I just got back from my scheduled day at the gym. Kept my linear progress in lifts despite being really sick this morning and having to call out of work. Surprisingly (or maybe not so) the workout really helped and I'm feeling great now (though still sounding sick).

Since I use my job for part of my fitness program, (I walk ~6 hours/shift) and am working extra hours tomorrow, I will be getting more of my work out in.

I'm debating going for a jog. We'll see if that actually happens. If not, it's only 1 day so no harm done :)

How many calories does eating cookies burn?

ROFL I'm sure it burns like 10 calories per cookie, so it's really like the "120 calories" is like 110. *So, I'm a fitness nerd; sue me! Lol j/k*

Definitely! I'm planning a hard workout today and then will do a shorter Jillian Michaels workout or power yoga for an easier day tomorrow. =) I know I'm going to be over my calorie limit tomorrow, so I might as well do what I can today to help limit the damage! Besides, I took a week off Jillian (just did walking), and after just getting back into it I'm SUPER sore. I need to get back into it.

    Edited for grammatical error.

I'll do the 30 Day Shred, I'm on a roll. That's less than a half hour, though. I will probably also walk either outside or on the treadmill. The holiday is quiet for me, no traveling, no huge houseful of people, so I really don't have an excuse not to.

    This is me exactly!

I hit the gym early today since they'll be closed this evening and all day tomorrow. But I will probably take it relatively easy tomorrow since I haven't had a rest day. My husband and I might go for a walk since it's not really Christmas weather here. lol But we aren't having a crazy Christmas dinner or anything.

I'm going to cycle 10 miles on my exercise bike and do some basic dumbbell exercises in the morning, then on boxing day I'll aim for around 20 miles and try and get some pilates in too.
  • I'll be doing Week 5 Day 2 of C25K sometime between gatherings on Christmas day.
