Hey guys! Check-in really quick before I have to leave!

    LW: 145
    TW: 145

I had been down to 144 for several days and that reflects in my ticker, but today I was up to 145. Probably b/c I had lots of taco+rice last night. Oh well, it will be gone soon enough! :)

So I just changed my goals. I have had it set at 2 pounds a week all this time and that only worked in the beginning. Now I have not quite honestly been sticking within the 1200 calorie range, but lately when I go over I basically think "well this is already shot, why not?". I adjusted to the 1 lb a week. I really hope this helps me stay true to myself.

I still don't anticipate losing more than 0.5 - 1 lb a week, but at least I am not trying to make my body do something it doesn't want to since I am getting close to my goal. I am thinking that since I am in the healthy range now my body is gently saying "okay you are good now, I am hungry lets eat!!".

Oh well thought I would share. Thanks for letting me ramble.

You know momto- I've been thinking of doing that exact same thing. When I had my cals set a little higher it was WAY easier to control myself. The only thing I hate about it is when I was set to lose 1 lb I only lost .5. But then again- losing .5 is more than the .2 I lost last week. lol

I have done the same thing. I have it manually set to 1400 a day (which is like 0.8 lbs lost per week). It is amazing how much more I can eat. I am so close to goal, why not? I got to have an excellent peanut butter snack today that I wouldn't have been able to have if I only had 1200....yay!

By the way, apparently I did not change my ticker 2 weeks ago. Even though I gained 0.4 this week it went down a pound.

  • Good Morning Ladies!

I've been lurking lately because I've totally fallen off the weight loss wagon and I've stopped running due to the stupid snow that will never go away. I can NOT seem to get motivated to do anything. It's like I'm in hibernation mode. I've gained about 2 or 3 pounds. It's hard to tell because Monday I was 189 but now I'm 192 so I'm not sure if it's real either way I'm frustrated with myself. I know why I've gained weight because I go over my calories just about every day. No excuse I've just have not had the motivation at all lately. I really want to start losing again. I felt good when I ran but I think I then used that as an excuse to eat more and that's what started this mess. My plan is to hopefully get my eating under control over the next week or two then slowly bring back the running. I have been doing yoga lately and that is nice and relaxing but not quite enough.

I hate that I'm letting my June Starters down.

On a better note, everyone else seems to be doing great. Kandy the halfway mark is almost here and Courtney and Momto you are both such an inspiration! Keep up the good work.

Shannah, I think we're all experiencing a little cabin fever. As long as we remeber our main goal is a lifestyle change, not a diet I think it's fine. I try to think of it this way- how much would I weigh right now if I'd never started this?? :noway: Trust me, at the rate I was going it'd be UGLY!

I seriously think everyone is SICK of winter!!! I'm ready to be outside (in flip flops) and enjoy some sunshine!!!! Sounds like everyone else shares this idea....

I want to get started back on my C25K also, but I'm not going to do it in the cold and snow... I'm in Texas!!! Never thought I would hear myself complaining about SNOW!!! Be we seem to be getting some every week lately...GEEZZZZZZZZZ :grumble:

We HAVE to stay focused!!! Busymom is right... LIFESTYLE CHANGE!!!! That is the key phrase! Remember what excites you about losing weight/ getting healthy... Find away to get that enthusiasm back!!! I am struggling with the same thing, but I am really, really trying hard to focus on my goal and my motivations!!!

COME ON, JUNE STARTERS!!!! Let's hit it and hit it hard!!!! No slacking!!! This is NOT FOR WIMPS!! We are strong. We CAN do this! We WILL do this... We DESERVE IT!!

You are NOT letting us down! I'm proud of you for getting on here and telling us your having a hard time so maybe we can help! What indoor exercises do you like? Have you tried any of the DVD's? I know when I can't exercise I seem to "throw in the towel" on my eating too....I hate when I do that! But today is a new day. What is your mini goal for the day? logging? exercise? water?

    Days like this are confusing!!

I still have over 600 calories left and I haven't even went to the gym yet today.... I got in a workout this morning which added about 400 calories!! (whew) But I don't want to miss my gym time.... I have eaten three times already today... I don't think I will get all of my calories in, but I'm not stressin'!! Ain't it strange?!! I'm telling you!! I LOVE the way I feel when I get in a really good workout!! So much energy!! :drinker:
  • Ok goals for the day...

Only eat what I packed in my lunch.

    No snacking after dinner.

    Yoga after work...

    Shouldn't be too hard right?

Hello Ladies! I am 21 weeks tomorrow so 19 weeks to go! Although I have placenta previa and if it doesn't correct itself I have to have a c-section at 37 weeks. That would mean 16 weeks to go, but I would really rather not go that route! :ohwell: I have gained about 17 pounds so far which is a little more than I had hoped for, but you can't win them all right? :drinker:

Glad to see you are doing well. 17 pounds is pretty good, and totally worth it. I had placenta previa with my first pregnancy, I was written off work at 7 months when I started having some spotting, anyways things corrected themselves somewhere along the line and I had a healthy baby 2.5 weeks overdue. Best of luck. I know it doesn't correct for everyone but you are not licked yet!

Hi everyone ... I hope your weekend is going well. As for me, I think this depression is getting the better of me. All I want to do is sleep. Well, it's later in the evening right now so I guess its okay for me to go to bed. Sweet dreams all ...

Maggs hope you feel better today after getting a good nights sleep. Its the last day of February!! Yay!! I love when March gets here then I know spring is just around the corner. It has been a hard week with all the snow, but the temp is on the rise
( I am a couple of hours NE of you, but I imagine your weather is similar, we go to your neck of the woods quite often and it is usually the same) Finally the light at the end of the tunnel.

If you find you can't shake this though maybe go to your doctor. It may be more than SAD. Have you had your Thyroid checked lately?

    Feel better...
