    I've just moved into maintenance mode, but before that, I was eating about 1900 calories a day. I'm 5'10, 140 pounds and workout 5-6 days a week (burning between 250 and 500 calories).

    1,350-2,100. I do low impact aerobics 5 days a week, 15-45 minutes-depending on the day.
    I eat more on hungry days and less on not so hungry days.

    my calorie goal is 1200 ...exceeded it by 600 calories or so in the past 2 days due to so much yummy christmas food around...but will recover it from today by exercising more and remaining under calorie goal. :)

    I eat between 3000 and 4000 most days...and I exercise a bunch.
    What I focus on are net calories. And I totally follow the MFP recommendations.
    Whatever works for you.

    1800 is my calorie goal and I eat back some exercise calories. Usually exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week but lately I have been working some active jobs so I am wearing a pedometer to get a read on my activity level. I have lost a pound a week in the last 3 weeks.

    I'm 5'0" and weigh about 110lbs.

    I try to consume between 800-1200 per day with running 4 miles, which can burn just around 400 calories. My net calories consumed winds up being roughly 400-800. This may be bad, but I try to consume just enough to not starve myself.

    I try for 1200 but sometimes don't make it. I sometimes go over a 100 to 300. Right now I am in stage 1 of the virgin diet.
    I started this about a week ago but fel off the wagon and had some dairy and some wine so starting over today.

    Responding to the poster who said she eats about 800 cal a day and exercises. When I do that my family is all over me. I try for 1200 and exercise by walking my dogs 2 x a day about 40 minutes each time and then adding some stationery bike riding to that about the/four times a week.

    1560 + exercise calories when I work out.
    It's my maintenance calories. I'm 5'4 and 113.

    Anything from 1500 - 2500 depending on exercise. 1500 is the minimum I eat :smile: But an average day is around 2000

    Currently at 2400 but go as low as 1800 and over 3500 when trying to add more mass.

    Active 6 days a week with 5 days where I lift weights for 90-120 minutes plus basketball and indoor soccer.

    1,700 - 2,100. Most often @ 1,900. I am 5'2" and 149 looking to lose 20 more. I am losing about 1.5 pounds a month and not starving. Working on sustainable for life.

    1200- I used to find it really difficult to reach 1200 but for the past couple of weeks i'm getting so much better (and feeling so much better for it too!) I'm quite active (not hitting the gym but I play a lot of sports and dance) although don't bother logging it 99% of the time.
