    Learned how to love exercise

one pound away from normal weight (hope to be there by new years)

found how wonderful juicing and Intermittent fasting feels in my body

I have a will of steel and have found what has worked for me

food doesn't have such a huge hold on me anymore.

    Easy answer!

    1) Ate better. More fruits and veggies, far less empty calories.

    2) Ate less. Portion control. Limited snacking.

    3) Exercised more. Both cardio and weightlifting. I've spent more time lifting weights this year than I had in my entire life before this year.

    4) Joined MFP. Logging food keeps me honest and keeps me moving towards my goal.

Results: 72 pounds lost. No prescription medications. Blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides now in "normal" levels

This is a great post!! It's so inspirational seeing what everyone has accomplished. Amazing!!

    1. I joined MFP and starting logging my food religiously while making new friends along the way
    2. Got off of my butt and started working out at home, Elliptical Machine and DVD's
    3. Joined a gym, have gone 4x per week since joining in August, have made a bunch of new friends there
    4. Stepped out of my comfort zone and started taking classes at the gym, including Zumba and now I LOVE it!!
    5. Lost 45lbs so far, 2013 I will reach my goal!!
    6. Fit into a size 6 pair of jeans yesterday!!!

Looking forward to 2013 to see how reaching my goals feel :)

Good luck everyone! Thank you for all the motivation!

I read up about nutrition and low carbed.

Then, when it stopped working for me, I read up about why it wasn't going to work long-term.

Net result - A better appreciation of nutrient-dense 'real food'.

Oh, and I started logging on MFP ;)
