Not me, I can't afford it!0

It doesn't matter what your reasons are for joining a gym, as long as you keep going!0

I work in a gym, and it really is amazing to see the number of people who come through our doors in January, Febuary and March. For ever 4 quitters there is one who stays motivated and I love to see it. I love seeing people come in to make a positive changem and sticking with it! It is inspiring!0

Nope, sticking to my home gym and walking/running outdoors. My home gym is my counter top, my ipad, a yoga mat, a small and large inflatible exercise ball, and small hand weights. Oh, my wii fit! Good luck to all who kick off the new year in a gym!
PS... now those of you joining an adult ballet class, yoga or barre class.. you might see me in February !0 -
Well I've not been to the gym for a month of uni work, plan to go back again.
Not sure that really counts.0 -
Yep, I'm gonna be a resolutioner at the gym on Jan.1
I've been sick since Xmas.... my plan was to avoid the gym for the first few days of Jan but now I have to be there and get back in the flow. I'm also gonna be starting at a new gym. I'm gonna be one of those peeps.
Stick with it!
I feel the same way. I started in April when my gym had its grand opening i've seen alot of faces come and go but myself and a handful of others have stuck with it. To see the change in the faces of myself and the others whe have changed their lives is worth all the sweat and pain. It doesn't matter what day you start your resolution, only that you start and never give up. It will be worth it I promise.0 -
I'm going to be too hungover to be at the gym Jan. 1st0
-
YEP! I'll be in my home gym but then ill be in my school gym following the first so that way in May I can come back and people will be like dang diggity dog!0
-
I will, I will be there today too! I haven't missed a single workout in the past three months. It is a my link to sanity and my stress reducer. I started working out in May of 2011 but then went through a traumatic divorce after 31 years of marriage. I continued to go but was not there consistently like I am now. As the now single mom of six, four of whom are under seven, they are my biggest motivator! My four year old son said, "When I grow up, I want to have tattoos and muscles like you mommy." Love it. I can be an inspiration for them!!!! I will be there every day this week except for Sunday.0

I'll be there. But it won't be new for me. I've been going just about every day for over a year now.0

My gym is closed Jan 1 lol. I haven't been in over a week because of Christmas followed by a virus for the last 4 days that has kept me home. They are open today though and I was just sitting here debating about if I should go or not since I still feel weak and under the weather. I'm just itching to get back to it. I've been going 5-6 days a week for months now and I miss it! Hmmm.0

My gym is open tomorrow half day I think ... I'll be sure to get at least an hour or so of work out.0

My gym is also closed on the first, but you can bet I'll be there on the second! (Probably run or try to follow a youtube workout on the first, though)0

I was one of "those" in Jan this year! I have clocked up nearly 300 visits since then and lost a huge amount of weight! Good luck to you all, stick with your plan and you will make it too!0
-
Would love to go, but the gym is closed here on the first. If it's not too cold outside I may go for a run, although with an already sore throat that may not be the best idea to do.0
-
Definately, I want to start 2013 right.0
-
I would love to have more friends that I can support and that can help support me in 2013. Feel free to add me.0

I hope to be! I can't afford a gym membership, but I've always wanted one. I have some resolutioner friends who said they'd put me on their family plan if I'd go with them for motivational company.
I told them, heck yeah! Sign me up!
There's a 50/50 chance they'll chicken out, though. Working out is hard.
Anyone wanna buy me a gym membership?0 -
I was thinking of going tomorrow. with the xmas season rush, I haven't been for about 3 weeks, maybe tomorrow... but definitely starting back...I HAVE been watching the diet a wee bit...so things are not horrible.. only gained 2 lbs.. and to the OP.. I HATE suv's .. my friends want to stab me when I call their beloved vehicles 'trucks.' happy new year0

I'm sure I won't be back full time till March/April. Tax season is upon us and since doing tax returns is my job, I'm sure I won't have time for the gym until the people quit coming in our doors. But I will climb our steps and go up and get my own clients instead of having someone bring them to me. Our kitchen is upstairs and so is our bathroom, so getting water and getting rid of water will be my excuse to climb those stairs.0
