How many languages can you speak?

English and I can get by with Spanish, French,and Portuguese (Brazilian). Not particularly good in any of the three but pretty rusty in French and Portuguese.0

How is American and Australian not English? I suppose Kiwi is another language too??
I speak English (the type from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, New Zealand, Australia and the USA!) and a little Maori, I used to be quite competent with Maori but what you don't use you lose, I'm sure it's still in there somewhere though!0 -

Spanish & English.....conversational in French. I can read it pretty well and carry on a conversation ok.0

I've got a BA in French and an MA in Translation and teach secondary school French. I also have qualifications in German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Norwegian, but can't say I speak them that well. I can understand Spanish pretty well and am able to teach it to a basic level, same for Italian. I have taught German in the past, but not for a long time now so my German is very rusty!

Five - French (native), English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. I've been learning German and Turkish on my own for a bit over an year, but I wouldn't quite say that I could speak either just yet, and I'm thinking about taking up Russian one of these days.

Fluent: Estonian, English, Dutch
Reasonable but mangled: Russian and French
Can puzzle out if written or spoken realllly slowly: German, Finnish, Spanish, Latin
I can read 3 alphabets: Latin (the one we're all writing in here), Cyrillic and Gothic.0 -
