The "B" stomach.

I have some!
I mix greek yogurt w/ 2 tbsp Fibre one honey flakes (although not very healthy, it adds that kick of sweet!) , 2tbsp bran/flax/other flakes, and a bit of granola ( I use this hemp granola sometimes, it tastes GREAT.) and then add 1.5 tsp of honey. Add fruit as desired!
I also like whole wheat PB and Bannna wraps! ( I call it a Nanna rollup :blushing: )
I just use half a banana, 1 tbsp PB and half a tbsp honey. You can half these things for a lighter snack (it's around 300 cals for the whole thing, but for half its about 170 ish)
I also make these really great tasting homemade granola bars. I don't have the recipe for you right now, but if you wanted it I could certainly send you the site.
Ever heard of "the green monster smoothie"? I LOVE IT. So healthy and so yummy! google it! NOW!
PB and bannana icecream (seeing a trend here? lol) Just made with 2 frozen bananas, some almond milk, and some PB.)
Zucchini bread! MMM. I didn't like the walnuts I added to mine, but it was really good nonetheless. I substituted most of the sugar for applesauce.
If I think of any more I'll tell you!0 -
I still dont get it...a B from the side, or a B letter from the front? if its from the front how would you have one side flat and one side 'B' ish?0
-
do you think eating alphabet soup would help? :flowerforyou:
Haha!! actually laughed, good call!
(probably not just carbs and salt )0 -
Eat at a reasonable caloric deficit to lose the body fat. Strength train, especially doing compound lifts to strengthen your core.1

No...picture a B laid over all the way to the right, with the bumps to the bottom.0 -
i have a b with a droopy upper case B
oh i hate the alphabet now hahahha0 -

It's usually from the side. At least, in my case it is. I think my "B" is more similar to rolls and less droopy, so who knows? But i know a lot of people have "Bs" that are droopy from either having children or just being their genetics
Imagine you have a rope tied around your waist, just above your bellybutton. the skin and fat above it leak over the rope, and the fat underneath it juts out. your bellybutton is slightly hard to see because it's hidden in the crease between the "rope". In reality, the rope is just a crease (mine is always red :grumble: gah!) Now do you understand ?0 -

Now i understand! Thank you I was so confused! and the straight line on the B is supposed to be your back!0 -

Yes! haha congratulations :flowerforyou:0 -
I know this is an old thread, but I was desperately searching for before/during/after pictures of women shaped like me. I didn't know what to call it.... I searched "belly crease," "tummy crease," "stomach crease," "inverted belly," etc. LOL. Glad to have a name for it, B... makes perfect sense. Like someone else who posted, I have been a "B" shape since I can remember (maybe 5th or 6th grade) and I envy those with "I" shapes of course, but also those with "D" shapes as I think they look more proportioned.
Anyone have any pics to share? :flowerforyou:0 -
So do I have a "B" stomach if my tummy looks more like a bumcrack than the letter B? Because that's how it looks with the loose skin I have now...1

I read this thing that tight hip flexors aggravate the lower belly paunch that many women have.... I saw a youtube video on a stretch that would help...0

After a c section, my OB called it her "floofy place". She said it does not go away. It sucks because its now the part of my waist that holds my jeans up.1

While planks are an awesome way to gain strength in your midsection (and other supporting areas), I cannot stress enough that a flat stomach is made in the KITCHEN! And you absolutely need fats in order to survive - but the good fats that are found in nuts, avocadoes, olives, etc., not the ones in french fries, potato chips, and burgers!
Oh yes............ I get it. Good fat and protein keeps us full and help shed the weight and inches.
I keep taking photo of my midsection and I did have a B belly
And I never had any children. But now it has become a small D if you know what I mean. The upper belly is gone .............I have the lower belly.
I am tweaking my diet............hope to lose it eventually.1 -

I think this is due to anterior pelvic tilt that is caused by tight hip flexors, causing a person to not stand up as straight as they should, so their back looks rounded and it looks like they have a bigger gut because of the way their spine is. I used to have this problem until I started lifting heavy, now my posture is great.
FWIW I've been small my whole life and I still get the 'B' sometimes - I think it's just one of the many genetic variations for how we store fat. I used to hunch over in a desk all day and have a red crease right near my belly button, and sort of "wings" under my bra... no more with all the muscle I have under there now and the fat I've shedded!2 -
Nothing has worked as well for getting rid of the pooch and tightening up tummy muscles as my Pilates reformer has ... I LOVE IT .... bought it on QVC 3 years ago ... best purchase I ever made ... I had been taking reformer classes at the gym 5 years prior to buying it btw ... one month at the gym was about $500 in addition to my membership; the reformer I bought was about $490 and that was with the jumpboard and the stand that elevates it off the floor so my dogs don't use it as a bed. BTw ... your bf% has to go down before you see the muscles but you all know that already.1

This is my stomach. I’ve always had this shape. Right now I am at my heaviest weight at 147lbs. Even when I was 120 I still had it, just smaller.
Please does anyone know what to do to get rid of this shape
Don’t mind my messing living room...just desperate
