I have:
1 pair black yoga pants - slightly too short
1 pair grey yoga pants - slightly too thin of material.
1 pair yoga capris
2 pairs mid-length shorts that are slightly too big.
2 pairs knee-length basket ball shorts that are definitely too big.
3 wicking T-shirts
2 wicking tanks.
Tell me it's okay to buy more. Thanks.

It's TOTALLY okay to buy more.
1 pair of black pants.
1 pair of black capris.
1 skort-thingy.
2 wicking tanks which are too big.
And a variety of t-shirts which aren't workout specific, but I wear them anyway.
Which reminds me I should have put laundry in today. Looks like I'll be wearing my capris out in the snow 'cause my cat decided he was going to sit on me while I was wearing my black pants... T_T0 -
More then I use.
I should work on that.0 -
4 technical shirts
5 more i use just for cycling (tight/sleeveless)
1 underamor shirt
2 technical pullovers (Wish I'd bought the third one)
6 shorts
2 pair compression shorts
2 long sweats that are way too fat in the waist (Hello clothing manufacturers, there ARE tall people that don't have huge waistlines.)
2 bibs
2 pair Minimus shoes
1 pair chuck style shoes for lifting
2 pairs of cycling shoes (SPD and SPD-SL)
1 helmet.
2 pairs of deadlifting socks (Soccer socks.)
4 pairs of hand wraps
2 pairs of cycling gloves
2 pairs of boxing gloves0 -
OF COURSE it's okay to buy more. You need clothes that fit. I have enough warm and cold weather clothes for 5-6 sessions.
Although the guys in your gym may be sad to see the gray yoga pants go.0 -
I have 2 Under Armour shirts but thats about it :laugh:0
-
2 pair of black Athleta capris (slightly too big so I don't wear them when I know I'll be jumping and they'll be falling)
2 pair of black Lululemon "wunder under" capris (love these, one pair I just got for Christmas)
Several Old Navy "modal" tanks from a couple years ago - and by several I mean like 10. I layer or wear alone.
A couple old t-shirts
1 Lululemon tank that I think I'm too fat for now but fit nicely a few months ago
All of this to say - I pretty much LIVE in one pair of capris and just change my tanks or t-shirts out each day. I wash the capris once a week since I can't use laundry softener in that load.
Now, how about sports bras??? I've got too many of those thanks to the last Athleta clearance. :bigsmile:0 -

*waiting for pics*0 -
1 cold weather wicking pull over
4 wicking pull overs
2 cold weather running tights
2 yoga leggings
2 yoga capris
1 capri legging
8 raceback tanks
5+ race shirts, 3 of them being tech shirts
4 mid thigh loose fit shorts
6 bunhuggers
Various old cut off sleeve tees
1 pair of running shoes
3 CF gym specific shirts
1 Lift Big Eat Big tee
1 LIft Big Eat Big hoodie
1 pair of CF shoes
The last three being my *kitten* clothes
Buy a new pair of clothes or two that you feel comfortable and confident in. I'm all about looking frumptastic about 75% of the time at the gym, but other times I want to feel good and LOOK good too.0 -
FYI, looks like Old Navy's work out clothes are all on sale... $7 tanks. I like tanks, because I like to check out my muscles in the mirror at the gym. Yes. I'm one of those people. But I also don't like tanks with the built in bras, I think my boobs are too small. The bras never "work".
The End.0 -
-5 pairs of shorts
-3 pairs of track pants
-3 dri-fit shirts
-some t-shirts
-chucks0 -

-
I own far more workout clothes than I do non-workout clothes.0
-
So much. Sometimes I go shopping rather than doing laundry. Sue me.0

Tell me it's okay to buy more. Thanks.
Of course it is!!
I have way more than I can list...0 -
3 pair of sweat pants
Tooooooo many t-shirts to count
New balance shoes0 -
Yes, it's okay to buy more. Splurge a little!
I keep all my old "fat" clothes and workout in those - very large t-shirts and large sweat pants that I've had to cut and re-sew. Maybe it's time for ME to buy new clothes too!0 -
I work out at home. I wear yoga pants when I go to yoga class. Otherwise it's:
2 sports bras
Underwear
Simple.
But if you want to buy more, go for it0 -
6 pairs of compression capris (all from Old Navy. LOVE them)
2 pairs of cold weather running tights
A butt load of tshirts (I don't like the tanks)
More sports bras than I can count
7 pairs of moisture wicking shorts0 -
I honestly just wear shorts and a t-shirt when working out. Though I would like to get some compression pants since it's freezing right now lol0
-
I can't even list the amount of workout clothes I own. I have a slight addiction to shopping, so that might be a contributing factor. But I always shop smart when I buy workout clothes, I can't stand spending a lot on them. Most of them come from TJ Maxx, Walmart, Dunham's when they email me coupons (also how I got my kayak for $200 off- woo!), eBay (new, not used.), and the Adidas and Nike outlets when they have sales.
Most of them consist of:
Sports bras
Workout pants
Capris
Tank tops
Tshirts
I've also discovered a new addiction to fleece zip ups- thanks eBay.0 -
3 pairs of Danskin bootleg dri more pants...in black, grey and navy blue. i have had them for 2 years and love them for more than just workouts! I need a couple more....got paint on a couple of them.
1 pair grey Curves silky yoga pants. Better suited for warm weather as they are thin.
1 pair black with purple thin reflective pants Curve brand, used for summertime walking on the roads. have a matchng vest.
2 long sleeved wicking shirts.
2 short sleeve wicking shirts
4 tanks.
I'd like a pair of capris.0 -
18 tshirts that are either black, white, blue or red
8 pairs of shorts
3 sweat pants
5 sweatshirts
14 of those tshirts gets worn every day of the week cause i have to have a dry shirt for the drive home
2 more tshirts get used for basketball nights (tues and fri)
i alternate between shorts and sweats at the gym the other days0 -
Not much.
1 - semi-fitted t-shirt
1 - compression capris
1 - Enell sports bra
3-5 - around the house sports bras (could be used for yoga if I took it up - lol)
1 - under armour material t-shirt that is too snug
1 - pair stability running shoes
I saw on another thread that Old Navy was having a sale and ordered 3 more tops, 2 more bottoms, and some socks. That is all.0 -
Thinking about this makes me so proud. I own more work out clothes than street clothes. Very little of my street clothes wardrobe still fit.
4 pairs of Capri pants
1 pair of sweat pants
2 pairs of shorts (1 doesn't fit yet)
8 wife beaters
2 v neck tees (that I hate to wear)
2 pairs of sneakers (1 gym 1 running)
5 sports bras0 -
