Hello From Scotland :-)

I have just started today 7th January 2012 in my weight loss mission :-) last year i lost 12.7kg in 30 days but it must of been too fast because i am worse off now as i have put on the weight plus some!! :-( I am an endomorph and always looking for advice etc from similar body typed people. I am looking to promote lean muscle tissue to burn body fat. I am currently doing a low carb diet and my eating habits have really changed for the better, I am also doing cv at home and planks also lifting dumbbells at the gym :-) Hit me with a friend request if you want to witness a 'FAT to FIT story' im gonna smash this!!!!!!!!!

Take care everyone

I too am from Scotland and am trying to shed weight thru being sensible and working out rather than a fad diet which has me put the weight back on when I lead a normal life! Feel free to add me!

  • Wow wasn't expecting a lot of people from UK/Scotland Cheers for all the reply's guys :-) Keep an eye on me and give me that kick up the behind if i need it lol i would like to hear of all the dieting and excercise routines of others as it will inspire me to try different things! Im not one for cardio but i know as an endo i have got to include this to my routine and i usually do interval training either at the gym or at home as i feel it burns more fat without losing muscle.
  • I am from Scotland too!!!! - Must be the weather we have that makes us store fat for heating lol.......Sick of being overweight - sick of feeling tired - my weight does not define me but I am tired of all the issues it brings with it. I am going to get this off.........feel free to add me

Hi from just outside Edinburgh, always looking for Scottish friends so feel free to add. Been on this since September 2011 and reached my goal in April last year (although I have gained around 3 pounds over the festive period which will be going soon!), I still log to maintain and support friends.

    Cheers, A :)

    Hello! Another fellow scot here.

I'm sitting in my cold car having grabbed 5 minutes to eat my lunch, listening to the torrential rain of Lanarkshire whilst eating a rubbish brown salad roll! Not feeling very motivated today :-(

I'm not from Scotland, but my son and his wife live in Aberdeen. I have visited twice in past 4 years. In fact my cover picture was taken in Scotland. Wow! beautiful country. Wouldn't mind living there. I'm working on counting calories and portion control versus fad diets. Have been very successful in past, but let eating get away due to family illnesses and other issues. Wish you the best in your weight loss endeavors.
