    Any and all exercise is good.

    Yes and any exercise that you're going to stick with is even better. If you like cardio and hate weights then do cardio. If you hate cardio and love weights then lift. I do a combination of both cardio and weights. Cardio leans me out and weights provides me with muscles and strength. I am able to stick to it because I enjoy both.

    It's not a matter of which is better for a person it's a matter of their preference and what will keep them exercising.

    I lost 4 lbs in December by incorporating weights after 7 previous months of trying with cardio and only losing 5 during that 7 month time frame.truth. now after the holidays and a 3 lbs gain I'm back to my cardio AND weight work out.
