I don't understand why some are still focusing on that thread. Get over it. Srsly0

Knowing not to post a thread about another member and using their pic without their permission....oh wait, i have common sense, I knew that.
For me, it was finding cute hairstyles to wear to the gym....wait...no, that wasn't it.
I will be there in 5 to braid your hair like princess leia!0 -

Taking the positive encouragement rather than the negative. This is MY journey, no one elses.
That's what I said when my ex was taking all the records. "You can't have that one, it's MY Journey!"0 -
Getting your heart into it.0

Can you recruit the hubster? Carpools?0 -
Same thing. I'm in the beginning right now. I can't drag myself to do errands much less the gym. I'm rationalizing that some weight will come off with eating plan alone and that I'll have more energy to workout once my weight is down. Gonna take longer but gotta start somewhere.0

Here's the thing, sweetcheeks. That thread exposed some serious character flaws and inability to judge appropriate humor. Nobody has any reason TO get over it.0 -

At first working out made me extremely sore and exhausted. After a workout out I'd take a shower and go to sleep, because I was just completely drained.0

Hey if that's where you want your energy to go, more power to ya.0 -
making myself believe that not only was I worth the effort - but I also deserved the success and wouldn't ever be expected to apologize for focusing on making myself the very awesomest that I could be. That I wouldn't be considered a traitor or vain or self-consumed just because I cared about how I looked.
that was the hardest part, looking back. Saying, it's ok to be an athlete again, no one is going to say HAHAHA YOU'LL ALWAYS BE FAT, WEAK & BROKEN TO ME!
Although my ex did tell me that last year.
"I just want to let you know that you are attempting an endeavor fighting against un-winnable odds. Genetically, you are a mesomorphic body type. I mean, *kitten*, your hands and general bony structures are more like that of a professional football player than some dainty fitness model. Just based on that alone, you don't have the body type to look like the girls you post on your blog. But be happy, there is a 90% chance that you won't have problems with osteoporosis."
^ from a kinesiology / exercise science grad student, who hadnt seen me in YEARS, telling me this thinking I still weighed 260. He didnt even know I'd lost 70 pounds already and was running halfs. He just wanted to make sure I knew all that and wasnt still deluding myself, wherever I was.

This trick again?
Hardest part... trick... hm0 -
82 lbs down and my 'hardest' issues are still hard.
1. Working out - I hate it, so much.
2. Not eating before bed, love a full belly at bedtime. - Don't do it anymore but that was/is a hard one
3. Booze. A quick look at my diary shows that I haven't fixed that issue yet.0 -

I so want to put some sort of pube tamer gif here but I am on my work comp and am afraid to google it. Let me draw you a mental picture. I imagine a crotch shot winterbush (much like the one referenced in this thread) and next to it would be an old tyme lion tamer guy with his top hat and whip pulled back over his head. In his other hand he has either a stool or a big electric razor.0 -
