I used to eat McDonalds 3-5 times per week and quit cold turkey last year! My one year McDonalds-free anniversary is coming up in a week and a half It was soo hard at first, but it's great now0

Cut out bread, cookies, sweets.Allow myself sugar free jello and pudding. increase fruit and veggies and water0

I am eating junky food less often, and less of it when I do.
I am not cutting anything out entirely.
^^ this.
I cut out soda 3 years ago, but for different reasons. I haven't had fast food burgers in, like forever, but that's more because I figured out what I love about those burgers is the greasy salt... or.. the salty grease. But the actual food has no memorable flavor or appeal to me. But man I miss that greasy salt sometimes :S
I make what I eat work, and I like working for what I eat0 -
The only things I am cutting out are gluten, dairy, and soy, and this is only because I have allergies to them. If I could, I would incorporate them into my diet.
I still regularly eat GF chips, chocolate, bacon, and other "bad" foods. I just eat them in moderation.0 -
Absolutely nothing. I don't feel it's necessary to eliminate foods I like simply because I am eating less than what I need to during maintenance.0

The second serving.0

I haven't cut out any foods as I don't eat sugar, don't buy junk foods, eat lots of vegetables, some fruit, some meat and natural dairy (fresh cows milk when I can get it, unhomogenized when I can't) but what I will cut out is sitting at my computer during lunch breaks choosing instead to get more exercise outdoors. :flowerforyou:0

Right now its just soda. I eat a few snacks here and there and it hasnt slowed my weightloss.0

I cut fast food out completely. At the beginning I cut out bread, cheese and sweets but now I just eat small amounts of them.0

Been resticting myself so much i decided to take some well founded advice and cut nothing but eat less of processed food0
-
I try to not eat anything white...sugar, flour, potatoes. Lost 66 so far!0
-
Not cutting anything out completely....
that said I am reducing processed foods, sodium, and just junk in general as much as I can!! My body feels so much better with out all that stuff!!0 -
CARBS but not just for weight loss for better blood glucose and avoiding Type II Diabetes.. so far so good0

I most definitely eat a lot less carbs these days. Cut out lollies (sweets) mainly too and replace with choc protein bars etc.0
-
Not cutting out anything. If it fits my macros and calories left for the day, then I eat it. If not, then I'll just have to save it for tomorrow.0

I am cutting out a LOT of things for the first steps of my journey actually. I am cutting out the usual sugars, junk, etc. Also I am cutting out dairy and only having fruit once in awhile in a PWO shake. Im mostly going to be having chicken, pork, beef and fish for my meats and having any veggies I want and some complex carbs earlier in the day. I am only going this hardcore in the beginning, I will eventually slowly add some things back in and I am allowed one cheat day a week.0

I'm cutting out sugar by making my own desserts and using brown rice syrup and agave. Refined sugar is SOOO bad for you!0
-
Sugar and especially late night foods...junk food0
-
Fast food, caffiene, wheat, dairy, prepared food (frozen, jarred, and canned).0

Nothing is off limits. I have cut way back on sodas (even diet soda), chips, mcdonalds, etc but if I want it I just figure it into my daily calories. Since I have trouble with portion control I buy 100 calorie packs of little cookies/crackers and I found some little ice cream cups that are 100 calories. they seem to do the trick when I want some sweets!!0
-
No more packaged foods, crisps, or soda. I eat everything else but I take caution on fatty foods and eat small portions. For example if I'm eating out, I'll eat half of my meal and take the rest home for later or some other day.0
-
I'm trying to eliminate sodas entirely! Including diet. And just eat lest of.... Everything honestly.0
-
I need cut carbs such as rice and bread.0

Going to sound crazy but I go crazy for Chick-Fil-A. Every week I eat good hitting my goals and macro's. I goto Chick-Fil-A on Saturday as a treat. Simple reward system. Even having 1 cookie for having a good day works also.0

I have cut out sugar completely!! and all processed foods!::I feel fantasic and extercise everyday:happy:0
-
The only thing I have really tried to cut out is fast food, and also have tried to eat out less altogether. If I do those two things I eat so much better because I don't cook fatty foods at home anyway.0

Just saw you are from Klamath falls, OR. My grandfather's side of the family is from there.0 -
Before joining MFP, I had cut out snack food and soda. Actually I stopped drinking soda for close to a year, might have a glass or two while out and about but never had any in the fridge. Since joining MFP I stopped drinking "contains 15% fruit juice" beverages and powdered drinks all together (strictly 100% juice and water now) and slowed down my carb intake. I had no problem cutting out fast food because I was always cheap and cooked 95% of my meals. It was easy to portion control since I wasnt never a big eater in the first place, to be honest, I am having a little trouble hitting my calorie goal. Making small changes over time seem to help me transition to a healthier lifestyle more than quitting all the junk cold turkey... But I do reward myself once a week during the weekend.0

I've cut out pop (Soda for those not from Chicago). Everything else I've limited how much I eat/eat in moderation. It's no good to deprive yourself.0

I have a terrible Starbucks addiction. Terrible. The Christmas season is hardest for me with the gingerbread lattes. While I haven't been able to cut it out completely I have scaled it back. My current drink there is 190 cals, 1-2 times a week vs the almost daily 360 cals I was having before.0
