    Or US get their heads out of their behinds and pays better. Instead of paying millions of dollars to athletes, pay the people that save your *kitten* in an emergency, protect our country, and teach our children a heck of a lot better.

    The "U.S." doesn't set wages, individual companies do based on the going market rates. Athletes are paid well because people want entertainment, pay for entertainment, thus making the teams and sponsors wealthy. So instead of whining and complaining a person should choose a line of work that they either find fulfilling or a line of work that pays well. You can rarely have both and if you choose a career and then complain about not making much money then it is your own fault.
