Usual breakfast for me...
Oatmeal with some butter and cinnamon/sugar, an orange, a cup of milk, two scrambled eggs. Going strong all morning!0 -
some kind of protein at breakfast is pretty essential for me...protein in general really helps to keep me going and feel satiated. Here's my usual:
1 serving Coach's oats
8 oz 1% milk (some goes in the oats and I drink the rest)
1/3 cup blueberries (I just like 'em a lot)
1 large hard boiled egg
1 can low sodium v8
2 cups black coffee
The above gets me 24 grams of protein in the AM and it's around 448 calories. I also have an AM snack around 10AM which usually consists of greek yogurt and an orange...then lunch...PM snack...dinner. I usually get between 20-30 g of protein at each of those meals and snacks and I'm good. When I miss on my protein, I usually feel hungry at some point. You can manually play with your macros...I had to, and it's helped a lot. I do 40c/30p/30hf and it's worked really well for me.0 -
Eat something with a good amount of Fiber & Protein in it. Make sure you drink 2-3 cups of water because you could be dehydrated and the body sends the same signals for hunger and thirst.0
