Age - 34

SW - 272-ish
CW - low 260's (I'm making a conscious effort to stay off the scale except for Thursday mornings)
GW - 170's, for now - I'll reassess at that point

I'm 62, started out at 232.8 pounds. Doctor put me on a 1300 calorie diabetic diet. MFP put me on a 1490 calories but I stick to the 1300 calories. My goal is 150 pounds. I started on this journey on November 1 and have lost 17 pounds.. It's going to take a LONG time0

I'm in maintenance. I am 5' 5 1/2", 50 years old, and I maintain at 127-129. MFP has my calories set at 1520 before exercise. I walk daily for my exercise. I sometimes eat my calories back, sometimes I don't. I love to eat and eat every few hours, lol.

While I'm losing weight, on Mondays I eat around 2,000 calories or a little more and then eat 1300-1500 calories Tuesday through Sunday. I also workout 5-6 days a week which includes cardio and strength training.0 -

I eat 1200/day & don't eat back exercise calories, but I do have the occasional splurge day. 1200 may not sound like a lot, but I eat so much lettuce/fresh veggies that sometimes I have trouble getting to 1200.
Good luck!0 -
177 and I eat about 1,700 a day. Sometimes a little less. I am only 5'4" though.0

5 foot 5. I am 11 stone 2 (156 lbs). My goal weight is 148 lbs at the moment (that should get me down to 20 % bodyfat) I eat between 1800 and 2000 cals per day. I lift heavy 3 times per week and cycle everywhere. I also run when I can and am training for a triathlon in the summer. My bodyfat % is more important to me than the scale number.

Total Calories per Day 2300
I lost my weight at about 1350-1600 plus exercise calories, or a total of 1700-2000+. About 6 months ago or so, I switched to eating based on my estimated TDEE instead of bouncing between high days when I exercise and low days when I rest. I'm much happier that way. Exercise is typically running 3x a week and lifting weights 2-3x a week. Sometimes I switch that around and lift more than I run, depending on how cooperative the weather is. If the weather's nice, I'd rather go outside and run while I can. This week, it's going to be colder than I like, so I'll probably do more weights.0 -
weight is 204, 5'6" 52 years old and as per my nutritionist/dietician 1400 calories daily with 5 fifty minute cardio intrval workouts per week.0

5'6", 30 years old, started around 210 (oh my god....) and currently around 165.
I wear a size 8 in pants/skirts - I am heavy but not that fat. I am currently experimenting with 2100 to lose slowly. I maintain on around 2400, roughly.
I just strength train 3-4x a week (barbell compounds) and that's kinda it. But I do walk a lot more than some people since I usually walk to lunch and coffee and stuff, but have a desk job otherwise.
I have also maintained on 1850 - feeling generally tired and having crappy exercise sessions. I recommend people try eating more before they assume they need less0 -

About 1200 - 1300 calories/day. I exercise about 6 days a week, but not intensely. I am 53 years old, so I do not burn calories nearly as quickly as when I was young. Increasing my cardio exercise and also doing weights to increase my muscle mass should help me to lose weight more quickly than I am now.0 -

As I understand you take your current weight x 7 = calories you should eat and still lose weight.
I burn apx 1,000 calories a week in working out (usually 20-40 min a day m-f)0 -

I burn around 500 cals through exercise. I'm allotted 1540 by MFP. I typically eat anywhere between 1800 to 2000. I have a cheat meal once per week and definitely go over cals, but just that day.0 -
I'm 42, 5'5", and currently weight 117 lbs. My goal weight was 120 lbs, but I'm still trying to figure out maintenance. I think I'm stabilizing at this point. I typically eat ~1600-1900 calories per day depending on whether I exercise (I usually exercise 4-5 days per week).0

I have my goal set to 1800 right now. On hard workout days I'll try to get at least 2000 so I don't net anything lower than my BMR (1480 ish) but sometimes with my work schedule it just doesn't happen. I just started P90X this past week though so I'll probably be upping my calories soon and trying to get more protein. Lost about 40 lbs since Jan 2012.0 -
I recently joined...and the profile says I should be eating 1900 calories...I feel that to be too high...0
