I am 5'1 and in size 8/9 (136 lbs). I used to be in a size 2 but I don't want to be that little again. I'm hoping to get down to 5/6.0

I'm 5'4", 157lbs, and wear a size 7 jeans (the odd size 5) and wear a small/medium top. I have always weighed heavy on the scale, maybe it's from being athletic my entire life? Not sure. Meh, inches are more important!0

I started out in 2012 at 5'5'' and 232lbs and was an 18 in pants and an XL/XXL in dresses/shirts. Right now I'm still 5'5'' (:P) and 189 lbs and am a 14 in pants and a L in dresses/shirts.0

5'5", 123lbs, US size 4 in pants, 6 in dresses... boobs are getting in the way of that going down any.
To put some perspective on sizing: we took my boyfriend's cousin shopping a couple of weeks ago when she visited. She's 5'8", 105lbs, and a 0/00 in the US. That's obviously considered an XS or XXS here.... But she's from Singapore, so she kept reaching for smalls, expecting they would fit. I'm a Small in the US but a Medium/Large in Singapore. Clothing manufacturers vary their sizes to match the average size of the population. Also, what was a 12 a few decades ago is an 8 now - my mom's got clothes old enough to prove that!0 -
I'm 5'8", 137lbs (as of this morning, but weight fluctuates between 136-139 on any given day). I am currently in a size 4 (US) in most jeans, depends on the brand. I actually bought Target jeans in a size 2 and they fit, but only in that t=particular cut - their other styles in a size do not fit.
My biggest problem these days is finding size 4 in a tall/long length! I miss my Levi's, but can't find a store than carries the long length below a size 6. :grumble: Well, Old Navy (their slogan is "jeans that fit every body" - LIES! :laugh: ) & Gap both have them, but none of their jeans fit my shape.
Oh, and another point on weight not necessarily equaling a certain size - in the past six or seven months, I haven't lost any weight (just those same 3 lbs up and down), but I did drop from a 6 to a 4 during that time due to fat and inches coming off. :bigsmile:0 -
