It's called 7-Up, but the "slogan" if you will, was, "Heads down, thumbs up!"

    Moon Patrol FTW!
    compumat.jpg
SpectraVideo CompuMate computer for the win! This craptacular computer had a whopping 2 KILOBYTES of RAM, ZERO persistent storage (i.e. can't save $h!t), and required an Atari 2600 to operate. I remember working on Apple II computers in school and having to come home to this... thing.
Fortunately, my Mom scrapped her pennies together and got me a Commodore 64 a couple years later. To this day, I still believe that the C-64 was the BEST COMPUTER EVER given the price point and the technology available at that point-in-time. #GeekThis!

WOW! My first console was a ColecoVision, followed by a Commodore Vic20, that I had to enter my programs out of the back of Byte magazine! Which my brother promptly recorded over the cassette tape with Michael Jackson. >.<

And I still do storage some 31 years later......

I had one as a kid. Bought myself another one two years ago...my kids love it!

My kids have one of these too! You'd think after all the years they've been making these, they'd have made the ice a little easier to crush.

Don't have time to retrieve and post pics right now, but I remember:

    1. Jelly shoes
    2. Friendship bracelets
    3. Vinyl records and cassette tapes--my niece, age 12, and my nephews, age 13 and 18, recently asked me what kind of CD's I had when I was a kid. When I told them I didn't have CD's I had cassette tapes, they said, "What's a cassette tape?" Uuuuggghhhh! I'm OLD!
    4. TV Shows--Mr. Belvedere, Small Wonder, Gimme a Break, Punky Brewster, Webster...I could go on forever on this subject.

Just imagine. Someday they will have that conversation with someone else about MP3 players and iPads.

Wizardry. a cutting edge game for the Apple ][ in its day.

    13-1.jpg

I lost a year of my life to that game, at least. I figured out how to hack it too. It was obfuscated to prevent it, but I found a way around it.

I had graph paper and fastidiously mapped all 20(?) levels?

    I remember that!

throw out here what you remember...

Too funny, we had this TV (but bigger) in our house until I was a teenager.

Even funnier, I just had to make a pair of these underdrawers for my daughter for a show she was in over the holidays. You can still buy the patterns.

I remember most everything that has been posted so far and am feeling very old today now!!!! But these are hilarious
