    That's what I'm thinking. I could go PM each of them and point them in the direction of this thread.

    I've pointed it out a few times in that thread. Oddly enough none of them seem to want to post here. Even as they continue to talk bad about YO's body.

    It just goes to show you, positive and uplifting people put in the work and have results to show for it. Any one out there body shaming others usually just hate the way they look themselves and are so small and petty inside they'd rather tear down people who've achieved what they wanted rather than do the work required.

    These are the people who click the report button when they read a success thread. And MFP would be a better place if it wasn't tolerated.

    Which is why I think most of us have chosen to ignore her. You can't rationalize with a petulant child... especially an over-grown one.

    this is still not ignoring me. it's antagonizing me. learn the difference and then you can call yourself an adult and insinuate that i'm a child. actually, that's not right. a real adult wouldn't start name calling in the first place.

    thanks - figured maybe if someone who positively posted put up pics, some of the negative nellies might too....

    Puffy - not only are you amazing in your pics, but you are a spectacularly positive person too...:flowerforyou: can't wait to get to the point where i don't tackle and beat someone taking pictures of me in a bathing suit... this summer :bigsmile:

    Oh yeah. Well technically they don't report success threads per se. But I've read comments from users who have actually said they get so jealous reading success threads that they then try to find posts to get that person in trouble.

    MFP likes to pretend it doesn't exist. But it's funny how the list of banned users contains a whole lot of people who've reached their goals... guess it's just a crazy coincidence.

    <~~~ I'm jealous! I have to wear padded push-up bras, but generally don't need a tan, because I'm half Hawaiian and born with a pretty nice tan, too. Only did it for the competition as it was required.

    Wow...you really are acting ridiculous. And I guess you figured out that no, your pics arent private considering that you got rid of the one of YOU. Back up that attitude with some actual confidence and awesomeness or even maybe an adult and mature response and then maybe you wouldn't look so ridiculous posting right now.

    You know her deal. It's her right to insult the way other people look, but she wouldn't dare open herself up to that sort of criticism. When she does it it's her opinion and she has every right to give it. From everyone else it's an "attack".

    Now put her on ignore like the rest of us and *poof*. Problem goes away.

    Strange. People had SO much to say when they were criticizing her body.. they defended themselves and said they have every right to state their preference...

    It's almost like they were giant hypocrites who live to trash someone else but could never handle it themselves....

    yeah i couldn't handle it myself which is why i do not post pics of myself. so what? if you post pics and hold it up as the ideal you're going to get criticism.

    I don't think anyone said it was the "ideal". It was - you can lift weights and still look like a woman. Not that everyone has to look that way...

    It was a while ago, but someone basically called you some unsavory names as part of the "muscular women" thread a while ago. It was just another example of the fit-bashing that goes on here on a regular basis. I still hate that it happened to you.

    People may think I look manly, but at 45 years old, I am happy with my 20 year old bone density (per DEXA scan) and I really do not care what they think.
