    Hello everyone,

Thank you for your comments and feedback. It has been one incredible bedtime read after a long day on duty.

Your comments have been humbling and motivational, indeed.

Brought a tear of happiness in my eyes, so I had to stop for a moment.

Matt and I are very happy to receive such an amazing support and well wishes. We are both humbled and delighted to have you by our side in this personal and amazing journey.

On our Team Wild Facebook page we post everything from videos of our training, to regular updates on my progress and condition. As you probably know we post my current condition review every Sunday, so if you would like to have the first row seat to my preps progress feel free to join us. We welcome you with open arms.

I also appreciate I am not everyone's image of 'perfection' - whatever that represents to one, nor do I strive to be. All I do is pursue my dream and share it with you, if you would like. You may chose to give of our day kindly and respectfully and share your own progress and goals with us, or continue in your path.

Both Matt and I thank you for all your input and look forward to hearing your thoughts!

I had no intention of doing this. Really. I think Matt's girl looks great and I didn't even post there. But reading through this thread has inspired me, so here goes. This is me last July or so. 7-8mo of lifting. I'm NOWHERE near where I want to be, but here you go. And my face is blocked out due to weird expression/no makeup/blurry. Here goes.

    That's a pretty flattering figure!

This thread has inspired me to take a more recent photo (this one is from my honeymoon nearly 5 years ago, but my body composition hasn't changed much). So that when I get closer to my goals I can see it and so can everyone else here. Particularly when I can finally feel comfortable in my own skin to post a swimsuit shot. Thanks y'all! As long as y'all (those on my FL and those that are not) are still around the haters can just keep on hatin'.

Not caught up fully but I think I get the idea. I'm working on a sucess story/what worked for me post but in the meanwhile, here is an iilustration of my progress since August.

    smallerjansucces-1.jpg

Almost 9 inches down in the waist, 46 pounds off, now about 2/3 of my starting BFP, strength gains, more bounce in the step, better hockey player, generally happier, and on and on and on. Now to get to 2/3 of my current BFP and become an even better hockey goalie, lol.

Bumping again so all the pictures of successful women (and men!) stay on my newsfeed--

Lots of hard work in this thread. Thanks for sharing it. My body's not quite where I would like it to be, but if I can figure out how to put 2 pictures side by side I will have something to show how far I've come.

Thank you. Your dedicaiton and transformation was quite amazing as well. The few others I saw were as well - Yo, Yoovie, etc. I need to go in depth into the thread to give them all mad props but some posts in the two threads disappointed me so greatly that I had to jump onto the positve vibe now.

Yes and without any supplements other than BCAAs (before and after lifting and once in a while after longer than usual hockey sessions), multivitamin and protein powder/protein shakes. It also isn't eating clean but rather focused on macros/net calories, though the macro focus wasn't really very good until the last couple of months. I had a lot more wiggle room when I was heavier.

I got a massive kickstart because I was finally cleared to play hockey after taking about 18 months off due to a major shoulder injury. A hockey goalie my size easily burns over 1,000 calories per 90 minute session. Doing that twice a week helps along with getting back into lifting and working to condition so that those hockey sessions aren't as ugly. MFP has been instrumental for me in regards to tracking portions/food value/macros/etc.

I love that people are unique - our bodies, minds, desires, goals, etc. To me, those differences are wonderful things (as long as you are not hurting someone) and something that I respect and value. I also think my differences don't always need to be shared. If someone achieves the look they want, I am ecstatic for them and to me, my thought on their desired look is irrelevant.

ETA - The thanks - silly me got ahead of myself. and to correct spelling
